Re: Operation Vietnam Patrol II (Memorial Day Weekend)

Well gents. The player I typically run with as a sniper squad will be out of town for this one. So, if anyone is interested in some stealth objectives, let me know if you'd like to be a spotter. I'll probably be in ghillie for this one, so not my standard DMR role of "my gun shoots further than your...

Re: 3D Printing Parts

I've thought about it, as I have access to a 3D printer. But I haven't come up with something I want to spent the time to model and make that I can't simply purchase or even purchase and modify to get the same result.

Re: Mini Op: King of the Hills @ Airfarm on 02/07/2015

Thoughts: Scenario A... Thinking about it more I think I like it. The spawn location of 7 is closer to the hill, but they don't have woods that to get them as close with cover as the route from 6. Not sure if that is good or bad. Scenario 2... Are there going to be rules about the distance the defen...

Re: Morse Code Flash Lights or Radios?

Team chat is only ineffective because the average Airsoft player is unprofessional and non descriptive when using their radio. High quality com set ups and hidden channels for communication is the way to go. Flashlights require that people look at you for communication, radios you only have to listen.

Re: Screeching gearbox

As long as it isn't shimmed too tightly, I would assume noise to be coming from improper motor height. Don't forget to check that the gears roll smoothly while holding the gearbox in all orientations. Ideally, the gears can't slide along the axles at all, but sometimes that is hard to notice without...

Re: Gear ratio for heavy spring

It is worth your time to replace those gears. You can use 18:1 SHSs if you don't want to shell out for Riots. But stock gears will fail pretty quick under the stress of a SP160

Re: Gear ratio for heavy spring

You can use 20:1 gears for that spring. The JG Blue will pull it no problem. I would recommend using a 11.1v lipo (if you have a mosfet) because it'll give you a nice boost in trigger response as well. The Lonex Red piston or the SHS Blue steel tooth piston are both very good. Also, you will want to...

Where is the lumber, how much is there and how large or how many vehicles would be required to move it all?

Re: The AOSC 5th Anniversary Game Sept 27-28th @ Redfox

As much as I LOVE the entire field of red fox for 2 days, I know myself and other gamecock players won't be in attendance due to it conflicting with the SC vs. Missouri home game that day. Anyone that knows about SC football remembers how close the game was last year and how important and big of a ...
