Re: Gearbox Locking Down

I'm using a 10.8v battery. I never had it lock up with the Franken torque motor, and it never locked up on the first matrix motor I had. And what usually happens with the new matrix is the gears seem to be sitting on the motor when it locks up and when I remove the motor, the gears then move a bit a...

Strategic Defense Initiative - Jan 3rd @ SQA

Overall had fun at the game, but during the second half I left my M15A4 at respawn for two hours and some one stole my tan ACOG sight right off the gun. (There were 2 other guns, backpacks, and other belongings there as well). Luckily they didn't take the whole thing. I believe someones P90 was stol...

Re: Gearbox Locking Down

So I have narrowed it down to two things. Either the motor is bad, or it was the spring that deals with the motor height. I forgot to use the stock spring when I installed my new matrix motor after the old one burned up (mosfet went bad I believe). The spring that came with the new motor was just a ...

Re: Gearbox Locking Down

Update: so after around 500 rounds the gearbox locked up again, so I'm ruling out the spring. I'm going to take a video soon to help figure out the problem

Gearbox Locking Down

I've been using the same setup for over a year now, and last week my M14's gearbox decided to lock down and has been doing so ever since. After tweaking with the gearbox I can usually get anywhere from 5 to 30 shots off and then it will lock down again. I changed pistons, removed the ball bearings f...

Re: R-Hop vs SCS

Thanks, will do. It seems simple enough, I just like to get as much info as I can before installing and making a mistake. Thanks for the help, hopefully it will go well.

Re: R-Hop vs SCS

That's what I thought the case would be, and is exactly what I want. I got the z-kit so hopefully I can get it right the first couple of tries. Any particular tips on maximizing the effectiveness of it? I want to get it perfect, so I'm already planning on spending an entire day devoted to the instal...

R-Hop vs SCS

I currently have a Shredders Concave Spacer in my M14 and was wondering if I would see a significant difference upgrading to a R-Hop with an M nub. My accuracy is great with the SCS, but I hear the R-Hop is just amazing, and it would be nice to further increase range and accuracy. I honestly just do...

Re: Upgradeing a G&G M14 DMR build

Thanks, well im probably just going to keeo my AGM M14 beacuse the G&G just sounds like alot of tuning of differnent parts, plus i dont want to spend $50 just to get a cylinder head. lol And thats why i bought the M135 so that i could have the highest fps with full auto ability. ill probably just fi...

Re: Upgradeing a G&G M14 DMR build

Im sorry, i thought the definition of a DMR was a lond range, accurate, automatic gun, but i was wrong. And i believe the last time it was chronoed, it was hitting like 390 fps with a .25g bb And i might have a compression issue, ill have to check that soon

Re: Upgradeing a G&G M14 DMR build

Oh ok, and where could I buy one of those cylinder heads? And thats why i put M130 on there lol, i want it to be in the footsteps of a DMR with accuracy and some range, but just a little low in the fps area so i have the ability to use full auto. In my AGM M14 i have a prometheus M135 and use full a...

Re: Upgradeing a G&G M14 DMR build

I heard that the V6 cylinder head wont work, but im not sure. And i was just going to get those extra parts so that everything would be the same and maybe increase performance. But you are the expert not me lol And i just thought that a M150 would be to high to use full automatic, but I was already ...

Upgradeing a G&G M14 DMR build

I was thinking of buying a G&G M14 and making it a DMR. Ive already upgraded an AGM M14 which is a TM clone. The G&G M14's gearbox is suppose to be wayy different and i was wondering if someone could help me with identifying what parts are in there. I also was wondering if this was a good setup for ...

Re: Evike

Their website to mean is awesome and they have some pretty good prices. But to me their customer service is horrible. I bought a motor that said that it was compatible with all matrix which of course didnt fit into my M14. So i sent a request in to have the screws replaced, instead i got a new motor...
