Re: Operation Flash Heaven 2
I think we can all agree this game was run excellently; When things got slow, the admins got it moving again. That in itself made the game a great one. I also really enjoyed the location of the training center. I hadn't spent much time in that area of the field until this game, and I really liked it...

Re: Operation: Infection
Main thing to remember when setting one of these up is to make things fun and easy for the Zombies. After playing at both FPTC Zombie scenarios, as well as playing a few small local Ops, I've learned first hand that running unarmed into a crowd of armed players with strobes gets old after about the ...

Re: Operation: Steel Griffin Convoy General Info
That's pretty much who it was intended for.
Another question (this one is also aimed at ninja.)
I have a National Guardsmen on my team telling me he's licensed to drive a humvee, but is under the age of 24. If he can provide proof of this, would he be allowed to operate one?

Re: Radios?
A good headset can get pricey, but so far I'm not disappointed by my $26 matrix tactical headset from Evike.com. The PTT unit I bought from there isn't bad either. Just be sure you match your radios and headset, or you'll end up buying something you can't even use. Those connectors may all look the ...

Re: AEG to GBB Conversion Kit?
PolarStar is the way to go. They carry a lifetime warranty and are extremely expensive, but there really isn't a good way to convert without dropping some serious money into the gun anyway. After seeing a team mate have trouble with his HPA system, this is what you'd better be prepared for. 1. You'r...

One thing to bear in mind when ordering from that far overseas; when the price is cheap, the shipping usually isn't. And just to back up suspicions, I've read some nasty things about the products Airsoft Club sells.

Re: Radios?
Headset-compatible radios are your friend. Trust me, you'll get tired of having to dig that thing out of your gear every time you want to communicate. Especially when under fire.

Re: Why do you play Airsoft?
I've always enjoyed disecting the mechanics of war, and also the tools used to wage it. Airsoft is the closest I can get to both of those things while still maintaining the status of civilian. Not to mention the adrenaline rush or the feeling of pride when you pull off a tactical feat. Sure, Airsoft...

Re: What gun is your pride and joy?
Used to be my CYMA Romanian AK. (Originally CYMAs were junk, I was wrong.) Had been using it with stock parts for the last two years without having to open it up once. Pretty astounding durability... I digress. After a local practice game in which I fielded my new ICS GreaseGun, I have a new favorit...

Re: snipter rifle
Let me save you the money and trouble by letting you know "sniporing" in airsoft sucks. People don't call their hits at long range if they are shot by a single BB. Heavy weigh BBs are expensive, and you'll end up wasting a lot of money shooting little kids that run away after being hit. This is pre...

If it's anything like the AEG's I've worked on; try to find the most difficult place it will fit in, then shred your fingers up for half an hour trying to put it there.

More than five people showing up to a Vietnam themed AOSC game in appropriate gear. That would blow my mind.
