UPDATES!!!
I bought a BDU camo suit from an Army Surplus store, and my rifle broke, so I'm stuck with my crappy shotgun.

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

haters want to be me. get an echo1 and stop using those crappy spring guns. your pimp game will increase greatly. Right now I have no money, but I can get a job paying around $100 a week, and I hope to start next week. The gun I have my eye on is an Echo 1 AK-47 RIS.http://www.airsoftgi.com/mobile/...

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

It's really not the cost of the gun that determines if the player gets "slaughtered" or "executed", it's the skill of the player. Now, that said, I do suggest getting something with a little more fire power than a shotgun or pistol. JGs are good, so are the G&G Combat Machines. Having that much fir...

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

If I took a video showing what my field was like, would that be helpful at all or just be pointless?

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

Question. I read somewhere that a recon (or a scout or a spy or a freakin' assassin or whatever you call 'em) could use a pistol as their primary. Is this true? What are some of the best pistols (AEG, Gas or Spring, doesn't matter) that you guys can think of?

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

I'm planning to get some airsoft gear (right now just using normal camo clothes) and I think I found what I want. The camo suit I'm looking at: http://www.airsplat.com/Categories/AC-APP-BDU-MCAM.htm The mask I'm looking at: http://www.combatgearing.com/advance-killer-face-mask-with-eyes-mesh-metal-n...

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

Airsoft is less about the competition and more about the experience. ACA competition: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WycqAXy2Srw Essentially speedball but with airsoft guns. Our games focus on collaborative team objectives. It's the entire team that "wins" points by completing the objective, not t...

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

Sup Dawg (sorry couldn't resist), Airsoft isn't competitive. Maybe out in California where they have the ACA, but no-where else is there truly competitive airosft. We get a bunch of guys and gals together and run scenario ops, skirmishes, or objective games. We have fun. Out on the field it's green...

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

Just a fair warning, M4 carrying g handle irons are ugly as sin. I have no idea what you just said. I do have a cheap-laser dot sight, though. I bought it for my Stinger but stopped using it, because I was wasting too much time trying to line it up perfectly and not enough time kicking butt. I don'...

Planning to get this (http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ER-GG-CM-M4-BLK.htm) and battery+charger and then do the "What the Buck" thing instead of getting the shotgun. Thoughts?

Re: How to put together a competitive Airsoft team?

So, my best friend and I just decided to work towards getting competitive, and we want to put together a team. We've played around a bit with some friends, don't think any of them have a gun that costs more than $75, (mostly Crossman) and I know we need to get better guns. How many people are allow...

When you said it would be a okay backup gun, did you mean secondary or just one to use if my Primary broke or something?
