Re: RBDA - Arbee Does Airsoft

Wow, been awhile since I gave the old forum some love. For those of you who browse, Dom's got a new game in the works, looking to be two of them each year, with multiple smaller games based around the same concept thrown in for good measure. This series is called Operation: Graycell, and you can rea...

Does this officially open the forum up for "Luke, I am your spotter" jokes?

Re: RBDA - Arbee Does Airsoft

I've got an announcement for you guys: For those of you who weren't at the SQA game on February 14th and haven't met Todd and his wife Mariah, well, shame on you, they're wonderful people. The good news is that you should be seeing them around a bit more at local events. Todd (Sedjet on these here f...

Re: Alice Gear

You can run the same rig with a battle belt and suspenders, though. Just because you use MOLLE gear doesn't mean you're obligated to wear a plate carrier.

Re: Alice Gear

I ran an ALICE kit back when I first started playing, and in my personal experience, MOLLE is a better platform. MOLLE is less fiddly, the pieces are lighter and fit together more securely, it's insanely customizeable, and you don't have to worry about messing around with or losing those damned ALIC...

Re: RBDA - Arbee Does Airsoft

I'm going to be looking for someone to contribute an article or two to RBDA for the first couple of weeks of March, since I'll be out at East Wind and I probably won't be able to update RBDA from the field. I don't want to leave the site sitting empty for half a month, though, haha. If you're intere...

I'm glad you think so, man. I have a lot of fun coming out and being part of this, and, as I've said before, the overwhelmingly positive reception has been wonderful, definitely makes me want to keep it up.

ACU is generally used as a balancer if teams are uneven.

King of the Hills Mini Op 02/07/2015

Once again, the short story for those who don't like to read. The long version can be found here: http://arbeedoesairsoft.com/2015/02/08/king-of-the-hills-02072015/ We got a late start, but that didn't affect things much. The only real issues centered around the camo rules, though one player did get...

Re: RBDA - Arbee Does Airsoft

KING OF THE HILLS 02/07/2015 It was a perfect day for airsoft at the Air Farm in Newberry. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Air Farm, it's an expansive field, one of the larger AOs (Area of Operations) in the state, with a generous mix of rolling hills, open fields, and forested area, w...

Re: Mini Op: King of the Hills @ Airfarm on 02/07/2015

Speaking of the unpredictable, the weather's supposed to be nice and sunny on Saturday, so we shouldn't have to worry about people not showing up because of rain. However, it's supposed to be a bit chilly out, so we might have people who decide they want to stay warm in their beds.

Re: RBDA - Arbee Does Airsoft

Thanks, man. I'm trying to get people interested, maybe motivate some to come back to the sport or to come out more often. You'll have your picture somewhere, and if you're not sure whether you got a picture during the game, I'm always willing to take individual pictures or team pictures on and off ...
