Also, for short stroking, you only need to remove teeth from your sector gear, not the piston.

30rps with an M100 35rps with an M110 40rps with an M120 45rps with an M130 etc. This is the rough scale I go with as for max rps on a given spring assuming that everything is running as efficiently as possible. Well, your weak points are the shell, gears, bearings, and trigger contacts assuming you use a battery strong enough to run the system. I'm really not sure what would fail first, probably the bearings though.

A basic mosfet works, but you'll need to solder for those. http://extreme-fire.com/2011-SW-SF-II.html This is the cheapest mosfet that doesn't require soldering from them. You'll need to get the wiring kit to go with it though.

Bearing size is 8mm. Lonex does not make good bearings. Go with G&P or Modify Ceramics. The Ceramics are a little more expensive, but much stronger. Systema makes good springs (gasp!) They last long, they are consistent, well made, and comparable in price to other springs. If thats what he wants, it...
