Breakdown / Takedown / Disassembly Guides

Post by SteevoLS » Fri Mar 19, 2010 12:22 pm

The original source of this list is a thread at Arnies.

Alighty good neighbors, recently while browsing these forums, I realized that there are a lot of threads with questions for Breakdown / Takedown / Disassembly Guides for this gun or that gun and thought it would be Way easier if there was a thread with links to all these places/threads with the guides expecially since it is sometimes hard to search for three letter named guns. Post the link in this thread and I will edit it into this post and then delete the post so as to keep this as simple as possible. I'll start this:

A minor note for anyone who doesn't know, CA (and hence Dboys) AR's disassemble differently than a TM. The receiver slides apart instead of folding.

This also applies to G&G and Combat Machines M4s as well.

Oddly, Combat Machine's upper receiver is held in place only by one body pin. The rear body pin's functionality is merely holding the gearbox in place.

I thought I might just throw this out here for you to know and save some time.
