P* Double feed

Post by D.Smitty » Wed Jul 10, 2013 2:11 pm

I installed a P* into a Tokyo Marui M4 yesterday, but I am having a problem where about 1 in 4 shots double feeds.

Most double feeds I've seen in the past are related to hop-up and or mag issues, but I wanted to know if polarstar guns have a problem with this before I start messing with my hopup chamber.

Not yet. What do you think would be good settings?

How is your upper hop up unit secured in your gun? It could be because it's a two piece unit, not a one piece.

one piece hopup unit. I'll take it apart and see if I missed a screw holding the unit in place.

Before you take it apart try adjusting the settings on the FCU like Gerbilizer suggested. What length inner barrel are you using? Which nozzle? What psi are you running?

It's probably your FCU settings... Be careful, it's also very easy to tear a bucking with the wrong settings. I recommend getting the p* app, if you can get it on your phone. I actually find it to be very accurate and helpful

I tend to disagree with most of about the FCU. That could be it but more importantly what hop unit you using and what bucking.
