The weathering isn't very genuine looking. The back of the receiver is down to bare metal, but your barrel (the finish goes first on the barrel since it heats up VERY fast on Kalashnikovs) looks brand new. I'd paint the entire thing black to fix up the receiver then start from scratch.

Good job on fitting the stock, though. The TM system is a lot more difficult than the VFC/LCT when it comes to cutting up a real stock.

How sturdy is that? I'm having a little trouble visualizing how you attached the PRI rail to the AK's rear sight block.

You're just jealous :)

Yes, the back of the reciever is the only part I'm unhappy with. The iPad camera doesn't do the gun justice.

I'll work the barrel first, I didn't realize it would be such a high wear area.
I do not always accidentally, but when I do, I accidentally the whole thing.

Avenger: I'm really not. Seriously. There are 5 AKs sitting on my workbench at the moment, and two look like that already... and aren't done. :P

Plague: Cool, I'd never seen one of those before. That would allow some interesting Red Jacket-esque builds.

I really don't think that's an AK47...

That's kind of like saying a Mk18 isn't a M4.
