Papa bear and little bear

The AKM needs to have a hole countersunk in the bottom of the stock to hide the bolt that holds it on. The front sight also needs to be hammered down the barrel a bit so I can thread the muzzle brake on properly (hence, it's missing in this picture along with the cleaning rod).

The AK74U is more or less a permanent project gun. Added a lockable bolt the other night, and if I can ever get the flashhider off I'll probably replace it with an appropriate suppressor.

The nut on the bottom of AKM's stock doesn't look at that bad. If anything, it adds to the rigid look.

I had to take off too much paint at the back there because I slipped up with a tool and had to even it back out... Other than that I am delighted with the gun!

Note-Bayonet is still under construstion. Will hoppefully post a better pic with the bayonet when I finish it
