Why I Joined the Army

Post by von_lounger » Wed Mar 31, 2010 12:25 am

I was nosing around the internet for info on multicam when I stumbled across this picture:

After a couple seconds I noticed something weird about the picture:

Obviously he can't get enough MW2!  :P

But in all seriousness he his using a "Universal Remote."

The Common Controller (as it is known) controls the Class I Unmanned Aerial System (aka the “flying beer keg“), the Multifunctional Utility/Logistics Equipment vehicle (a robotic cart) and the Small Unmanned Ground Vehicle (a portable, tracked bot). It can also connect to Urban Unattended Ground Sensors (U-UGS), which are a fancy, networked version of the intrusion detection sensors you might find in your household alarm system.

They've been saying that for a while.  Then the military brings out tools like this.  How they were wrong...

I hate to burst your bubble, but we already knew that. In fact, it said so in the original post!
