Shot the Beretta 92fs, Springfield XDM, and Glock 17 yesterday. Liked the XDM a LOT! Did NOT like the Beretta, and the glock would have been better if I had a smaller backstrap, but it does not point naturally. The XDM felt good in my hand, shot like butter, and pointed more naturally than the Glock.

Lady in the store said I had to shoot a S&W M&P as well, so next time.

XDs are weaksauce. Beretta 92s are for men, which is understandable as to why you didn't like it.

I was looking for a Glock chambered in .40 S&W, something in between 9mm and .45 ACP. a local store had them.
Last game I went to: Redfox, March 29th, 2014
(Stolen from Gerbilizer :D)

OH that's why I didn't like it? Thanks for clearing that up E1, I wasn't quite sure.

There are tons of different cartridge sizes in between 9mm and .45ACP. That's a great reason to choose one over the other. ^-^

Why do you want a .40, aside from the part where it's in the middle of 9x19 and .45ACP?

---

I'm eventually going to tap the receiver for a PU scope and refinish/freefloat the original stock, but for the time being I put the 91/30 in a freefloated, monte carlo profile stock. 250 yard targets the size of a coffee can are surprisingly easy to hit with iron sights.

It would be one thing if I chopped the barrel up, welded on some wack sights, and butchered the original stock.

Instead I removed two screws. :P

Big frickin' deal. It's a non-matching ATI import 91/30 with no collectible value. I might cut down the barrel, weld on new sights, and paint it pink if it will annoy you further.
