so i take it spring is the best time for airsoft out here? the winter seems pretty dead as far as the number of games thus far. i keep seeing games planed for march and april and things like that, but almost none in december or january. any thoughts.

We will still be having games throughout the year, no matter the season. Keep your eyes peeled for updates about upcoming games.

There is a game every two weeks, regardless of season. One is missing from November due to Thanksgiving, but another may be added. The new schedule will be posted soon, but ATM I am a bit busy.

The main reason for not many games in November is Thanksgiving break, period. And Dom, December 1st will be quite cold :D

Why is it going away? Just the field owner not responding?

We have contacted the owner and have confirmed that this is not necessarily the case. They may or may NOT be discontinuing airsoft altogether, but they are definitely discontinuing it with groups of kids. We have been told, as of today, explicitly that we are welcome to have our games there through the end of this year, and possibly next year as well depending on several factors. We will stay in contact with them and will let everyone know as soon as we are sure one way or the other as to FPTC's status for the upcoming year.

Due to some discussion still taking place on a number of matters with the schedule, I am posting only what is already known for certain. Please check the OP now for this update. When I fill in the rest, I'll let you know to check.

LOL, she sounded pretty certain about the end of this year when I talked to her yesterday.

She will not be permitting small private parties as far as I know, but we spoke with her on behalf of the AOSC on Sunday and I am relaying what she told me pertaining to the AOSC games. What you discuss with her is unrelated to any agreement we have.

Are there still possibilities of games at Rattlesnake Ridge?

I can host a game there anytime I want, I just haven't because I can only do them on Sundays and the last time we did them very few people showed up, and almost no on from the low country did (the main reason I did it was because several low country players asked me to). I have the owners number and I can run a Sunday game out there pretty much anytime I want, I just want people to show up to it.

What about a regular Saturday once or twice in the year and have someone besides you host it? Aren't there at least four other hosts? Saturdays seem to get better attendance than Sunday in this state.
