hey guys thanks for the compliments...

up to somewhere around 225feet is pretty much first shot will easily hit a man sized target. thats with KSC .30s.  I really want to shoot some goldenball .30s with it but i just haven't bought any yet...

I can get them to fly 275feet roughly though, thats max range. hitting a man sized target on every shot is a little tricky from that far though, but thats why i have semi auto.

Mojo= I got that acog looking thing a while back from battlecat out in anderson, and it really doesn't suit this gun very well. I've been wanting to replace it, and when I have the cash to do so (most of the scopes i like start at 100), I'll probably sell this acog one.  Battlecat does still carry them though, not sure what the price is currently

I forgot what it was that I was testing but I rolled a few KSC .3 down a PDI 6.01 barrel and was able to see just how inconsistent they were. One out of every 6 or so was so out of round that it didn't want to go into the barrel as easily as the others.  So I'm assuming the center gravity of the bb has to be inconsistent as well. Don't get me wrong, perfectly fine for AEG's on auto.

If you have a chance to, try a bag of the G&G Bio's. I think they come in .29's. Not nearly as expensive as the SGM's but I thought they were a great cost effective substitute. I ran a mag of them through my M4 and I could instantly see a difference. Shot really well out of the VSR as well.

Of course everyone has their opinion on what a good BB is so take this for what it is. :)

Speaking of other bbs. Goldenball makes good .3gs, those are the ones I use in my DMR, Bioshot bbs are also supposed to be very good, and are pretty cheap.

I've had EXCELLENT results with King Arms .28s, but I only have a 6.04 barrel.

clear biovals are fantastic, some of the best bbs I've ever used, but they only come in .27s, which is a little too light for 520fps, imo. but they are very good bbs.

520fps with .2s, btw, which is 465fps with .25s.
