I have spent a good amount(too much to count), but can you really put a price on the fun I have had, the friendships I have made, and the overall satisfaction I have got from the game? I can't, it is priceless to me. So for that reason, I spend whatever I want to.

Picking the field is a must, then talk to the owner. The owner may donate the field for the event(tax write off) or even take less per person. The thing about a charity game is to make sure at least 85-90% of the money goes to the charity.

Here is an idea to make the game worth while. Make the game a charity event. All proceeds go to a specific charity, like Still In the Fight, or any military charity. Whichever field is decided on, try to get the owner to waive his part so all money goes to the charity.
