Re: *Getting Out Of Airsoft Sale*

@TokenTech89 - The inner barrel length is 455mm. This gun is said to be compatible with mk96 parts. I can't find what the spring is in my research, but I know first opportunity I got to chrono it it was shooting 560 fps with .2s. @thebutnugget & Romba - I cannot part out of those parts because it wo...

Re: Firing problem...

Yes I have. Four different varieties. I'm going to disassemble it soon and check all of the internal piston and cylinder assembly seals and see if one of them is defective. It has to be. This is just a crying pain...

How would I perform a compression test?

Re: Firing problem...

It's not the bucking for sure. It might be an o-ring sealing the hop up, but I replaced the stock bucking after it started with a 2GX, and it's still doing it. It's a major disconvenience because of there being no internal connectors to separate the two receivers without clipping the Deans. Hmmm.......

Firing problem...

I've got a King Arms M4 that has a firing problem. Every 6th or 7th shot or so is coming up short, both in semi and auto. It's like there's an air nozzle or tappet plate problem or something. Anyone care to shoot me some ideas?

Update: Sporadic firing. Please help...

Re: New Gearbox Project...

I went to Radio Shack and bought a pack of small washers. They're thicker than shims, and the inner diameter is wider, so they go over the whole shaft on the gears, but I can shim certain places decently with them. What are you referring to Star? Shims or the hand guard plate? And I do have a full s...

Re: New Gearbox Project...

What's the best site to buy shims? I'd hate to buy some $6 shims and then pay $10 for shipping or something crazy like that... Do you have a scrap Combat Machine that I can buy a top hand guard plate off of? I need that. I need to rewire the gun, because the corrosion ruined the old wires. It's a fr...

New Gearbox Project...

A friend gave me a DPMS M4 and a DPMS M16 awhile back. Not sure of the brand, but its some cheap clone i reckon. DPMS licensed however. They had been laying in a pile of trash for over a year. After my horror of their discovery at his house, I rescued them. Surprisingly enough, one of them would sti...

Re: King Arms?

Their recievers are made of nylon fiber polymer and CNC aluminum. Can you give me some specific cases Steevo? This'll be their 2011 Colt model.

Re: King Arms?

Alright. Thanks for the input. I've got a few spare gearboxes laying around, and I'll scrap and match when needed. I am excited about all the Magpul accessories though.

King Arms?

I just purchased a King Arms M4 MOE edition the other day. From what I've gathered, I've heard King Arms is a decent manufacturer. I cannot find any written reviews on any of King Arms Colt M4s. Can someone please tell me what they know about King Arms products, be it past experiences or reading up ...
