Re: Midcaps vs. Hicaps

I have used hicaps no more than a half dozen times over the last ~5 years and never felt a disadvantage from it. On the other hand, I never shoot more than a 2 or 3 round burst and wait to shoot until I am close enough to actually hit my target (foreign concepts to many players). I actually showed u...

Re: AOSC GDT (General Discussion Thread)

The lack of pictoral representation of the situations and items described above implies that, in fact, they never occurred or existed.

Re: Mosfets

Unless I'm missing something that will not have any of the benefits of a MOSFET but I don't see why it would hurt anything. Bear in mind that the burst timing will probably stop working properly when your battery start so taper off. I would happily use one with a 7.4v lipo since NiMH batteries are a...

Re: C02/GG/Propane shotgun ideas

I guess you haven't seen the new Tokyo Marui gas shotguns? They are essentially trishot springers with the spring mechanism replaced by a gas tank in the stock. They can shoot 3 or 6 BBs per pump. The rectangular gas mag looking thingamajigger (in the picture below) is the gas tank that goes in the ...

Re: Mosfets

Back when I started making MOSFETs almost nobody had anything other than the Extreme-Fire FETs. I want to say I used 3034s for at least half of them; my primary reasons for getting out of the business were that I ordered something like 50 IRF3034s from a supplier and almost every one fried within it...

Re: Looking for a massive MOUT

For Irene I would think Guardian Center. GTI would get to be a fustercluck with 500 players.

Re: 8th T.O.A.R GRP

I would just replace the requirements for pattern-specific gear and settle on something like coyote brown. Lots of high end gear isn't even available in AU... for that matter most low or mid grade gear isn't either. That also has the added advantage of gear that looks fine over both green and tan ba...

Re: Latest Acquisition

Oddly enough the only reason I own a TYR carrier (BPC to be specific) is because I found one for a song while looking for a LBT 6142A. For all intents and purposes it is the same as a JPC minus the cummerbund. I ran a TMC JPC for a couple of years but was never able to really get used to the quasi-c...
