Re: Rocket Launcher
Would you mind tossing a picture of it up? Also, what does it fire? How do you reload it, could you do it on the field or not? Is it made of PVC or some sort of pressure-rated thing?

Obviously it is a custom self propelled outhouse.

Re: Budget starter packages
If you consider that plastic is a polymer, I'm leaning towards it being plastic and them not wanting to out and say it's plastic. Might be constructed like a WELL M4 or something.

Re: Budget starter packages
They didn't take it into account since there's a couple schools of thought on getting mags. Not everyone likes midcaps, not all fields allow hi-caps. I'll go back and check that stuff again though, I could make some options. Also, good find with that smart charger and the Lancer. That should be pret...

Re: Sniper or Assault Rifle
Good lord, try to combine everything into one reply. If you're in the lowcountry (Charleston, Summerville, Mount Pleasant), you should probably get to the ACE Hardware in Summerville. They've got a good selection of pistols, some for pretty cheap. Also, if you have a M-16 with a few extra magazines,...

Re: Sniper or Assault Rifle
Avenger is absolutely right. Unless you're prepared to sink $500-$700 into a rifle, the only thing you'll have at the end of the day is a airsoft gun that fires slower and maybe a tiny bit more accurately than most fully auto weapons you're up against. You can still hang back and fire at people if y...

Budget starter packages
I'm fairly sure this has been explored in the past, as it tends to come up just about everywhere, but I've been putting a lot of thought into how to most efficiently get people into airsoft. A lot of people I know love playing airsoft, but have the same questions on trying to buy equipment. They don...

Malfunctioning gas (CO2) mag
I've got a KJW M9 CO2 mag, and every time I fully load a C02 cartridge it just spews all the CO2 out in one big burst.
I've never opened a gas mag before, no clue where to start. If anyone can point me to some decent information, I'd be appreciative.

Re: I'm gonna need more BBs
Played with it a bit last weekend, it is actually a pretty great weapon. ROF is good, accuracy isn't bad (the hop up is WAY off, but I haven't adjusted it at all yet), and loading wasn't as problematic as I thought it would be. The scope actually worked pretty well too. It's quick-release, and works...

Re: Why do you play Airsoft?
Interesting question. For me, there's a couple of reasons why I play it. Expense - I can't afford to play paintball. A decent gun is $400, paint is $50/day upwards. Realism - While airsoft guns don't have the range of real guns, they have a bit more range than paintball and are a bit more accurate. ...

Re: I'm gonna need more BBs
That's a great looking weapon. Have you considered getting one of those telescopic stocks? Nope. The battery fits in the stock currently (and is massive). If I switched to a lipo I could possibly adjust the stock a bit. Right now it's kind of awkward to get my head into position to see through the ...

I'm no good with gas mag repairs, but I would suggest putting this same thread up on airsoftforums.com

Re: Airsoft gun rentals?
Yeah, I'm not quite sure how the prices would work out. I'm not particularly trying to make a profit, mostly I'd want to be able to offer people a low-cost alternative to buying a gun if they wanted to check out Airsoft. Any profits I made would be alright by me, but would probably end up being dona...

Airsoft gun rentals?
What do people think of a third party airsoft rental place? The idea would be this: Get a bunch of entry level airsoft guns. For instance: 3 G&G M4s 2 JG M36s 2 CYMA AK47s (or similar) Make sure that there is a battery and spare for each gun, as well as 4x Mid Caps and 2x Hi-Caps. Also make sure tha...

Re: I'm gonna need more BBs
I don't think I'll do any upgrades, as it's already pretty kitted out. The guy I bought it from clocked it at 370fps, which would be more than enough for me. The only possible stuff I'll do is repaint it to get rid of some of the weathering. I don't think I'll even want to do a tight bore barrel, si...
