Re: Desktop Screenshots/Backgrounds
Alrighty, very good guesses, however they are incorrect. The samurai in the back is Ogami Itto played by Wakayama Tomisiboro from the Lone Wolf and Cub series, and the guy in front is Zatoichi from the Blind Masseuse series. If you are at all into sword fighting movies like Kill Bill, I would sugges...

Re: Your Dream Weapon
Yes DW, a rear BUIS (Back-Up Iron Sight) works just find with a A-Post Front sight. Most BUIS are designed specifically for it. While, you will still see the front sight through your optic, that's ok, I usually just put the dot right on top of it, and with most scopes, you won't even see it.

Re: How long will a Li-Poly battery last?
Everybody, feel free to tell me how wrong I am or how impossible this is w/o wire cutters. It's just a thought. You are actually quite right Smitty. It is very possible to test FLA (Full Load Amps) without wire cutters. All you have to do is use a micro clamp-on Multimeter, like the one pictured b...

Whole heartedly agree!Straightshot wrote: Instead of using a slide rule, sun dial and a wish, the person chronoing can just have a bag of .2s, to ensure all fps is accuartely measured. This has worked many times before.

Re: ARES Tar 21 Tavor
Ares, in the past, was a subcontractor of STAR, however they are now an independent manufacturer located in Hong Kong. Ares is the manufacturer of the Tavor TAR-21. This is the only version that is officially licenced by the Israeli Weapon Industry. TSI has also made a Tavor, however, it is not offi...

Re: Sling Recommendation Questions
I am a big fan of the Specter SOP (Special Operations Patrol) 3-Point Sling for both Real-Steel and airsoft. I could sit here and give you all the reasons I like it, but I believe showing you would be easier so here is a link to their webpage, and a video of the sling in action. http://www.specterge...

It is my goal to provide the highest quality service I can, and while, for the moment, I may not be able to compete with some of the larger retailers, as far as selectio...

Re: Operation White Noise
I want to first thank everyone that came out in the rain to make the AOSC's first Operation the great success that it was. As all of the AOSC's Reps will tell you, myself included, we had no idea that OP: White Noise would be as successful as it was. The attendance and enthusiasm was beyond our wild...

Re: Trigger Tyme-Operation: WHITE NOISE
Heya Everyone, I am proud to announce the startup of a new airsoft retailer in Columbia, SC, Southeastern Airsoft. While I am starting this business small, it is my hope and goal to one day rival major retailers like AirsoftGI and Evike. Southeastern Airsoft will be making it's vending debut at OP: ...

Re: Problem with Gun (Doublewolf) [with pictures of mechbox]
Doublewolf, you are my new best friend...That is most thorough "What is wrong with my gun?" thread I have ever seen, and I wish more people would ask their questions in this manner. First thing, your Anti-Reversal latch does NOT engage with the Spur Gear (the red one, in your 1st picture). It engage...
