Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

Couple more dumb questions:
Is camping allowed?
Is there potable water on site?
Much obliged.

Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

As out of state guests we play at the discretion of AOSC and the event organizer/field owner, but I think we'd be okay provided we stayed on the "easy" areas (i.e. off the slopes and hilltops). This type of terrain (craggy, rocky, gully strewn) tends to give even real armor fits (funnels movement, n...

Re: The Delimitation Conflict

We liked their uni's and gear. Might be doing a Vietnam game later this year, always good to have more folks.

Re: Robin's Getting Out of Airsoft Sale

That's too bad, Robin will be missed, he did a lot for SC airsoft over the many years (in the view of this out of state guy, at least).

Re: AIRFARM May 28th

i played at the last game at the airfarm and some georgia guy ruined my day. he pistol whipped me and chipped my tooth. is that allowed? ^^Uhh, no. Had you told someone about it at the time of game, that player would probably have been kicked out from the game and banned from AOSC. EDITED: to clari...

Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

Thanks Stuckmojo, so I won't cross it off just yet. Some of the roads at the Aircross field were pretty mucky at TDC (rain, etc) but we got through okay. I've worked on improving the low end torque since then as well, as that was our first real experience with sloped terrain as well (it's pretty fla...

Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

How about Alpha on day one, and Bravo on day two? At least, that is what I was thinking.....that, or helping whoever was outnumbered come game day.
I'm happy (or sorry? lol) it made such an impression previously. ;D
The Afghanistan-like terrain shown in the photos is inspiring.

Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

Roger, I'll take your word for it unless we see something posted to the contrary. Most quarries are, well, not exactly smooth and level, so I thought I'd inquire before driving. Thanks Steevo.

Re: !!!Blue Hole!!! - Operation Guardian - June 18-19

Interesting, very interesting. Would you chaps who have played at Blue Hole previously consider this to be a "tank"-friendly venue? We'd still have to stay on the roads/trails though, naturally. The little golf cart based one from GA (i.e. The Delimitation Conflict) might like to come try a new venu...

Re: The Delimitation Conflict

Not true, a safety kill can only be called under 30 ft, and must be accepted at or under 10 feet. You DO NOT have to say the phrase "safety kill" for each individual person or count them out. I'm not sure where you heard that, or where DW heard the theing about only safety killing one at a time. If...

Re: The Delimitation Conflict

We found a springer revolver, black, 8" barrel, and turned it in to the staff on Sunday AM, and a nice SC AT weapon at Camp Wounded just before dinner break, but left it where it was leaning....I hope both owners got them back. That revolver would be the 'hand cannon' I spent an hour or so searchin...

Re: The Delimitation Conflict

....and: http://www.teamblackjack.com/ http://airsoft.team-talk.net/ http://columbustacticalrec.proboards.com/index.cgi ....among others. Unlike SC (and NC), Georgia has no central unified single group/organization. Some have tried to "impose" one over the years, but most consider it a bad idea and ...
