Hey guys, I just picked up a large PTT and Headset made by Cavalvy so I could ditch my stock motorola earbud/lapel mic crap.

The headset seems comfy and durable enough but I noticed two things that could be problematic. One, the headset is so loud that I now have the volume on my handset turned completely down. Even at that, it's still a bit loud. Secondly, when someone transmits, the headset has a short, static pop sound that is pretty loud.
Anyone experienced this before and or have any solutions?
