Color scheme should not be important; some of the best logos I've seen are simply two-tone. That way, you can adapt it to whatever set of colors you need.

Ok, I'm not creatively savy to come up with logos on the computer, but I'll try to explain my vision and maybe somone can create it.

I like the skulls if you hadn't noticed by my avatar and sig.  What about a skull in the middle, with an M4 on the right side of the skull leaning in at an angle, and an AK47 on the left side leaning in at an angle.  With "AOSC" rounded (letters flowing with the round edge of the patch) across the top and "AIRSOFT" rounded at the bottom.  In a black and silver color.

You want your patch to be noticed though  ;)

I don't think a skull for our logo would really help convey the whole "family friendly" image we're going for.

Just sayin'.

I like Slate's take on Garrett's design. The colors match pretty much anything. Maybe make one for those insane players who wear ACU's though ;) :P

Family friendly  ???  We're carrying guns and shooting each other.  Gotta have some fun with the game.

For a family friendly logo, we could have a family sitting at a dinner table, with AOSC across the top, and dinner time at the bottom  :D

FYI: I dont like the round design.  Why?

Think where you would most likely put this patch.  9 times out of 10 on a squared velcro area. If it were a nice rectangle it would look clean and neat.

Rectangles and geometric shapes represent organization, planning and efficiency.
Curves represent peace and understanding.

That's why I like mine. Imagine it in whatever camo skeme you can.

I personally think this could be something that we all create our own. If not, I'll be ordering my version from US Patriot soon, hit me up if you want it ;)

I like the color scheme on the last one, and like that one the best out of the lot so far.

But, I've seen the shooter in the logo a lot and would like to see something else.  Any suggestions?

I like the last one in the last post by Slate the best, and I agree, this isn't just for patches, but as an official logo for everything.
