Paintball BB's

Post by airsoftboy1771 » Thu Aug 04, 2011 8:08 am

Does anyone know where I can get paintball bb's? I want good ones for cheap. Not the crappy ones from Walmart.

As in bbs that have paint in them? Or the 6mm bbs we all use that have nothing to do with paint?

They're all crappy, just like the ones from Wal-Mart.

He means airsoft BBs with paint in them. First of all, they suck and their's no reason to use them. Why? It's a tiny amount of marking agent that you don't need, they cost a ton, are innacurate, will not burst most of the time, and every time one is cracked by your air nozzle you will spend an hour cleaning the inside of your gun. I would never let one come within a mile of even my cheapest airsoft gun. Secondly, there's no such thing as cheap paint BBs and I have never heard of a company making quality ones. Why do you even want to mess with them? They make less sense than Bio BBs, and we will not allow you to use them anyway.

Actually there is such a thing as a cheap marking BB, but they're not really worth using as you mentioned.

Good point, let me rephrase: paint BBs.

They are not needed anyway. Airsoft is a game that runs on the honor system. If you need bb's filled with paint to call yourself out then maybe airsoft is not for you. As someone once said "if you get hit it doesn't mean you suck, it means your in the fight"

Oh this baby? It is genuine walmart brand.
If it has been said by Henry, then it's probably right.

I for one will be pissed if you shoot at me with paint filled BBs.

This. Many of us use mesh eye protection, which doesn't protect us from paint...

We do not allow paint filled or marking BBs at AOSC events, don't bring them. They're gay.

I have gotten some before for my birthday from a friend (never played airsoft) who was trying to be nice. I tried them in my crap UTG M14, that is on the verge of breaking, to see what they did. I found out that they don't have paint inside them, but a thin coat of marking paint on the outside. The paint comes off when the BB hits clothing or skin and leaves a barely visible neon colored mark on the clothing. I still would not like these at a game anyway. (Just thought I would clarify that they don't have paint inside them so they won't explode)

Those are gameface BBs; there are actual paint filled BBs available too.

Well that makes for a different argument. I still would not want either of these two type of BBs at a game.

I agree, I'm still trying to wash the paint off my DCU's from Redfox Saturday.
