Can anyone reccomend a good sniper rifle???

Post by Mrdeathslayerr » Tue Jan 29, 2013 11:37 am

Hey, I have just started to get into the whole airsoft world, I have been interested in airsoft snipers for a while now though. I was wondering can anyone reccomend some good rifles??? My limit is around the $125 range.Good scopes for them aswell.

None.
Bolt action sniper rifles are at the cheapest 300$ for anything worth their salt.
DMRs would be at least 400-450.

A good sniper rifle for $125 or less? Sorry, can't do that for you. You should save up your money for a nicer one, or get an AEG instead.

Get an AEG you will be infinitely happier with a $125 AEG rather than a $125 "sniper rifle". To use a "sniper" rifle effectively it would cost you $125 or more for just the barrel and hop-up not to mention the other hundreds of dollars for other upgrades. Anybody else with a BASR like to comment?

For $125, you won't find a good sniper rifle to get what some of the other guys can do. Unless you find a once ina lifetime boneyard sniper that has everything you need to upgrade it and working, better off looking at an AEG.

That is not a sniper rifle, that is a long barreled cheap AEG with a bipod.

As Star_Folder and Felix said, either buy a nice AEG (G&G Combat Machines would be my recommendation) or save up quite a bit more for the gun and parts you need for a sniper rifle. In addition, sniping in airsoft isn't very fun, but your mileage may vary.

I am a bit of a jerk.
There have been a lot of games since the last fatality. Roses are red, violets are blue, so is your car at 102

just because it is electric does not make it not a sniper. The guy ask for something to snipe with for under 150 bucks I tried to find the best thing I could. no I do agree, beginners should not go for sniping until they have some experience with a friends rifle. A G&G Combat Machine is a very very very good first gun

lolololol Go look at my thread on BASR. Buy a JG Bar10 and the Angel Custom Tune up kit, and get the Action Army Zero Trigger with piston for $130, and get the gun R-hopped. Will run you about.............$310-$330, which is dirt cheap for a BASR. My L96 (sold now) had $400 in it.

I got a A&K SVD for around $200 at airsoft gi but now the price for them has dropped to a little over $100, You will probably need to put in around another $100 of upgrades to get it really accurate and the about another $100 on that to get it to gas, but like I said you can get a working sniper that is meh for a little over $100.

Or.... CA M24. They are arguably the best stock sniper rifles on the market, as their internals are strong enough to handle most any spring. Meaning all you need is the gun, a new spring, and an r-hop to have a competition worthy gun. (that doesn't include the hours upon hours of work that you still have to put into one, but you'd do that anyway)

Being electric doesn't have anything to do with a rifle being a DMR/sniper rifle in airsoft. Being a 390FPS JG with a few cheap bolt-on's doesn't make that a sniper rifle any more than a WASR-10 with a cheap stock makes a Dragunov. :-\
