i know from experience in Iraq not even the snipers camped. they moved to a point fired a few then had to move positions. so if you want to say mil sim. then camping only really happens on  own turf setting an ambush which most likely ends quickly or in retreat. nothing longer then 1 hour span before actual movement in real combat. ( thats my personal experience with it)...

Don't get me wrong, I never said I camped, I just said I knew how to be patient and sit still when I needed too. I understand that once you fire, your position is (most likely) compromised. But I know when or when not to move.  :)

I'm going to have to take issue with you there Judd, though it is true that snipers do not simply remain stationary 24/7 in every operation does not negate the fact that the majority of armed service throughout history has been primarily composed of static defense, and still is.

There will be no fight in this thread, unless you want one....Are you looking for one?

I have shared the field with almost everyone here and most have seen how swiftly I move through the woods. I can't stand people that resort to hiding in the damn bushes. I understand it to be part or all of some peoples skill, but that in turn just pisses me off worse.

You on the other hand I have never seen play and after seeing that you are part of BCSC, maybe you should ask Shawn,Eric or maybe Will how bad ass I am ;D

I certainly agree with you that if an entire team (or even one person) shows up to a game and spends eight hours "defending" a spawn point than they aren't really doing much in the way of playing. IMO, whatever accomplishes the objective(s) [within the rules of course] is the best course of action to take.

Well sirs, like I posted earlier there is a need for all types in an airsoft game. We all know that in real life situations there will be campers/guards. What would be the fun in rushing a base if there were no one in it?

I prefer my campers to look like this.

But definitely not this.
