It's not common, it was at one point but then other patterns were developed based on the battlefield. I wasn't saying that AusCam is duckhunter, well I guess I was but it's obviously not but it clearly is a variation thereof. I personally don't like it, if you do rock on with it!

I have a great friend in the Aussie Army, if I knew anyone actually likedhat crap i'd have had him bring mea metric ton of it when he came to visit last month

guys think how much money the military pays to have new camo patterns designed. i think if there had been a better camo at the time acu was designed then we would have had it

The military also picks the cheapest contractor to make things. I don't care how much money they spent looking into camo patterns, ACU simply sucks. There is a reason why the army is finally switching from ACU to Multicam.

Very true, considering 30 Alpha players passed right by us and didn't see us. A moment later, they were rushing to our position all of the sudden, and still didn't see us. xD

i like the newer ATACs in green.....this whole concept of a universal camo of one type, for everywhere, is ridiculous..... "cough ..ACU...cough".....
the Aussie pattern is just the WW2 PTO camo with a reddish khaki base that matches the reddish brown soils in Australia.....and if i was gonna go with an older pattern, i might as well just go with the original pattern in a cut i like....lol....

Multicam is truly an amazing camo. Incredibly effective in winter but I still do like marpat for summer when everything is real green.

MC is best in spring and fall when there are more colors on leaves.
