Title should say it all. I am debating between a plate carrier, molle vest, or battle belt. I put battle belt on there simply because I'm 14 and will have to come up with the $$ myself, and at this point all I will need is a few mag pouches and a dump pouch. But Gabe has a plate carrier for a decent price I am thinking about (please don't steal it out from under me)... So what are the pros and cons of all three? Price will ultimately be the deciding factor for me, but please give me input. Also please answer my hop up question. Thanks! 

It depends on your taste. I can tell you, plate carriers get hot.

Chest rig + battle belt with harness. Chaching, all the MOLLE you could ever need. I'll elaborate later on.

I don't need THAT much real estate....

It's no more than you'd get from a plate carrier (a little less in fact), but it's far more functional, breathes well in the summer, and leaves plenty of room to expand in the future.

This isn't mine, but my setup looks just about like this.

Noobish question, but is that the same as a molle vest or is there a difference between a molle vest and a molle chest rig?

For the simplest rig go for the belt.  If you're using it as the primary load, get some suspenders so it doesn't fall off.  You can add a chest rig to it later, or even a PC at the cost of a bit of mobility.  With the PC on you'll need to move the belt down a bit, so you'll find leaning is a bit more restrained.  Of course we're all built differently, but that's my experience with it.  In the heat of summer it's hard to beat a simple belt rig with a few mag pouches on it.  Throw a camelbak on for hydro and you're set.

Go down to an army surplus store and get an LBV or load bearing vest, i am about to get one but right now i cant afford it cause im upgrading my gun, they cost like $20.
