There were actually a few blunders by Bravo members regarding the bomb. As agitating as it is to know that not once, not twice, but three times our team had an opportunity to easily secure the main objective and didn't, I will admit that none of us, myself included, knew what it looked like. C'est la vie

i will take responsiblity for nobody knowing what the bomb looked like. i should have showed it to everybody in the breifing and i totally forgot. i guess i was still in shock from seeing rael show up for the game ^-^ . this was my first time putting on a big game like this so it was a learning experience for me. keep your thoughts about the game coming

A picture of it on a printout might have done the trick and still worked into the game as intel.

Well I used several more expletive terms to refer to Charlie during the game, but for the formality and family friendly environment of the forum I choose traitorous :D

Team INH's first official game...was a success.

I had a blast the whole time, especially when we kamikazied bravo at airfield and got destroyed...only two of us actually charged when we got up there, the rest of alpha pansied out, come on guys it was a SUICIDE run, we had nothing to lose.

I thought it was funny too when blackwater wiped alpha out of the tower, then left, they left the flag down and no bravo came to raise it, so we all just respawned at the tower

Overall...awesome...thats the only word that can describe it

Felix man I'm not hating on blackwater for being mercenaries. It was annoying to keep getting backstabbed the whole time but you're right it was what you were told to do. I just think the third faction should be handled differently in future games. Though I for one would rather only play in games where there are clear objectives and clearer adversaries.

There were very clear objectives for Alpha and Bravo. Get money to buy the bomb from Charlie. Once the bomb was obtained blow up the designated enemy structure. So the main objectives for Alpha and Bravo were pretty clear, as far as Charlie being in the mix i think their objective was just to be as freaking annoying to everyone but themselves as possible xD

Alright, to start off with, I must say this was a very interesting game, I loved the scenario. with a few minor tweaks it could be made better, but it was the first time so there were bound to be a few mishaps. it happens.

Among the best points of the day, when bravo payed BW to roll in to my hq and grab the bomb and such. I was so worried that they might search the area and find the bomb which I had half arsed hidden by dropping it in the weeds by the creekbed. I got there later and after a skirmish with 3-4 guys, I manged to retrieve the bomb that was still there. Then I was told that they had picked it up, wondered what it was, decided it was trash, and threw it back down. I am so thankful for their mistake as this was my biggest mistake of the day. Felix literally facepalmed later when I told him how close I came to losing the bomb.

The next half of the game was really good, but I have no idea how it took so long as I think about the story of the afternoon. After nearly losing the bomb that morning, I decided the best thing to do would be to seperate to two pieces. At game start i gave everyone except gold team the order to get back to the tower to engage bravo while me and and gold team went off the grid. We were attempting a plan with bw where I would pay them to doublecross bravo for and get my weapons expert back. thing fell through tho, so me, gold team, and a few other players that had ignored my orders moved on to the nearly unguarded airfield. After taking the airfield, I hid the bomb's controls, and about 1.1 million in the airplane wings and then left my men there while me and a guy from gold team went to retrieve bomb part 2. upon reaching the village and getting my objective, I left my original escort to rest and got the rest of the guys from southbase to escort me back. here I encountered another stroke of luck when my brother and weapons expert crossed my path on his way to respawn. I told him to come with me and respawn at the airfield. Sadly though, when we got back the field was under fire, and we failed to plant the bomb. Despite paying 2 stacks for help from bw, bravo took the field, and we probably would have lost a part of the bomb had I not bled out and walked off with it. (i must say, i loved hearing mojo talk about how they could have had the bomb if they had asked for it just a moment earlier.) I was a bit worried that bravo might find all the goods that I had left in the plane, but dismissed it as unlikely because of the density they had shown earlier, so I gathered my men who were with me and took the bomb and the 5 stacks I had been given after my death and went to the campsite to regroup. there, over sketchy comms, I got word from mojo about the objective of capturing felix. I sent my men onward, but grabbed my bro and took him for a walk up to bravo hq in an attempt to reach the bomb site. this plan did fail, as we both got shot, but luckily I had the foresight to stash the bomb and cash moments earlier. I reclaimed my goods and went to the village for rest, stopping on the way to hide the bomb under a pallet in the airfield, with only one hold up when I encountered the bravo co who asked for the cash. After it was sorted out that they couldn't take the cash due to us having been bled out, they let us on our way. Long story short, after that I encountered bw at southbase, brokered a deal, and payed them the five stacks in my possession to help me roll bravo over like a bus. And thus I managed to win the game with a surprising .9 million. I say surprising because I had told felix that I didn't care if I payed him everything I earned, I just wanted to win.

I must say thanks to everyone who rolled with alpha, especially Kory and the rest of gold team. Kory was an excellent XO considering my abilities or lack thereof, and gold team was very reliable. I also must say sorry to everyone on alpha that wasn't in gold team, I imagine I was a very unreliable co having been unreachable on comms and having only given the order to aim for the tower and engage bravo. Next time I hope to do better, maybe in a game where there's comms structure and I don't have to worry about spies... Regardless, I hope to play with everyone again soon.

Overall I loved the game and found it to be a very big learning experience. among other things, I have found that as a commander I will require a strong support staff who I can put over areas I'm not watching, that I might be a bit too hands on to be a commander, maybe a team leader at best, and that faction COs deserve every bit of appreciation they get because it can be difficult to keep everything going as they would like. win or lose, it's not as easy as it sounds to handle the constantly changing conditions on the field even if every player is doing everything you say. and I was only leading about 25 people.

I would also like to thank felix and the bravo co for a job well done. bravo put up a very good fight, and I could have easily lost a couple times during the day. And Blackwater did a very nice job of keeping things going. I came darn close to having won by lunch, the only thing stopping me is that dom decided to play to keep it going (or so I hear). I just have one piece of advise, and that is that you wait until you've been payed before switching sides. Had I not known how much i would require bw later, I wouldn't have payed them for their first job because they switched sides on me before mojo gave me the cash to pay them.

Stealth, you did a great job at running the game. Even though you kept in contact with us, we still lost contact with you every once and a while, and you'd show up with some crazy deal with the mercs. Again, I think you made a great CO, and I will gladly be your XO if you ever decide to lead alpha again. I got a kick out of seeing you running around with a walkie talkie in each hand yelling out what was going on, all while being in the middle of battle, and some how gold team was able to keep up with you.

This was my first time being XO, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, simply because I knew everything that was going on, on the field, Stealth did a great job keeping myself and my team up to date. I'm glad we where able to help you out so much.

I learned a lot, and have the same feeling I had after TDC, I wish I could do it again simply because I wasn't prepared. I would have played differently, done different things, and try to keep contact with the rest of the team, and not just Gold Team.
