At the risk of opening up another exciting can of worms, I am a bit curious as to what happened with the safety kill, what the misunderstanding was, and what the conclusion was. I ask not because it needs to be revisited or anyone needs to be blamed or anything like that, but because sometimes issues like this are often resolved while still leaving some misconceptions about a rule and it's proper application.

I apologize for misunderstanding the safety kill rule. I don't prefer to shoot people at close range if it isn't necessary. Now I know for sure. ^-^ Good kill, and good game.
We're square man. As I mentioned earlier, one of my guys made a boo boo during that skirmish too. Happens to everyone. Hope to see you out there again!

E1 called a safety on one of my guys from right at 20 feet away and my guy shot him. He thought safeties had to be accepted, we informed him otherwise. Simple mistake, not a big deal. That was right after his issue with Cleric so stuff got blown out of proportion. Really no big deal.

I didn't think it was a big deal, I just like to head off misconceptions whenever possible. I can see how that could happen, as safety kills are in fact required to be accepted, but only when at or under ten feet.

In retrospect of the game, I don't believe we really had that many issues. My only complaint was Dom got to ride around in the technical more than I did. I had to run everywhere chasing down tanks with a wobbly AT launcher.

Says my first kill of the game...

FYI, this is another guy who doesn't accept safety kills. Shoot him on sight. ;)

Lol, I think you really just had our number for about two hours. After Gambler tried to safety killed me I didn't see you guys until behind Alpha base near 5 or 6 oclock.

This is true, the only time I saw you after lunch was when I was attacking your HQ. ;)

I felt bad about being uncapturable in the tank during the day, so I roamed the field on foot from 6pm to after midnight to give Bravo a chance to take my card. While I was shot three times during this interval (twice in fairly rapid succession during the raid to eliminate the UN reporter ensconced at #6), no one attempted to capture me.

And the only news I heard about you was when you sat in fire ants. Ajax sure knows how to pick a spot for cover. lol
