What M4 midcaps should I get?

Post by Romba » Sun Apr 03, 2011 10:20 am

What M4 midcaps should I get?
I was going to buy some MAG midcaps, but the deal fell through. I am thinking about buying a box of 10 75 rd Pmags because they are only $65.99.

Any other suggestions? They have to be under $70 and at least 8 of em. I'm cheap. 8)

You get what you pay for with mags. The STAR PMAGs are cheaply built and a lot of people have feeding issues with them. Your best bet for inexpensive, durable mags would be plain-jane MAG 130rnd plastic midcaps.

A word of personal experienced, do not get the ARES (STAR) M4 Precision Feeding midcaps. King Arms midcaps feed like a champ, so I'd personally recommend them.

Those are PTS-licensed STAR "Green Label" PMAGs. They're a flimsy, glossy plastic clamshell PMAG body around a STAR midcap. I've used those, PTS PMAGs (actually produced by MagPul PTS) and the A&K PMAGs, and the STAR/Green Label PMAGs plain suck in comparison to the PTS and A&K versions.

I use MAG on my m4s I love them. They have worked in my KWAs, G&G, and VFC. I like the 130 vn style thought thats what I buy, thats just my personal preference though.

Actually, these are the mags I use. There inexpensive, seem to feed well in my KWA m4, and they look pretty cool. They may not be the best, but I like them and have had no problems so far.
