They be trolln.... AOE Angle Of Engagement. The angle at which your sector gear first engages you piston. Google is you friend. YouTube is also your friend.

Me thinks you need a bigger battery, maybe 10.8v? That way is moves faster and there's not enough time to break anything.

have you tried putting the piston in backwards to keep that end from breaking off? the other end looks stronger

That should solve your issues with pistons breaking, I've also heard the backwards-piston method increases the fps by 20!!
