M8A3 stock removal

anyone know how to modify a M8a3 butt stock? im trying to take mine off so i can change some wireing and get a better stock anyone got any tips? its a echo 1 stag arms M8A3 any help would be appreciated.

I assume this is a full stock? If so, just remove the screw at the top of the butt plate. That screw should extend the length of the stock and into the gearbox. Once it's gone, the stock should basically fall off.

yeah this isnt a flea market gun you guys lol but yeah its a retractable crane stock and i need to get it off so i can get a new wireing setup going and a better stock because the way it is setup the battery restricts the stock from getting into its 1ist and 2nd positions and if im lucky the 3rd postion its just being difficult with me im trying to do alot of things with it now really the rest i know how to do its just this stock is difficult

Oh, a crane stock. That's easy.

Take the adjustment lever on the bottom, and pull it down from the back side (the butt plate side). Pull it until it won't extend any further, and the stock should slide off of the buffer tube with no resistance.

but i will say im haveing wireing problems with my battery connection :(
