The RAS looks great. Did you get a shorter barrel, or is the suppressor just recessed over the barrel? Should chrono a little over 600 with a .2 if I'm correct. I have the 400% in my SVD.

no i modded the suppressor... i took the back cap, (it came with both 14mm+ and -, so i used the + one) and used a drill press to bore out the center to a diameter just over the width of the outer barrel. then drilled and tapped small holes in the side for set screws, and added a couple spacers down the barrel to keep it centered.

this way i can mount the suppressor at any distance down the outer barrel

Nice, good work. I like seeing people do stuff like that, rather than just throwing a suppressor and adapter on the gun. That's what I like about you SCAR also.

yeah on the scar i just cut down the outer barrel and rethreaded it. but there was only about 8 inches of barrel needed to cut off, the psg-1 is more like 14... didn't want to ruin it if i wanted to return to the stock look or something.

I was able to hit a tree about a foot in a half in diameter at 310'. measured exactly. with king arms .40s

Wow, that's crazy. Hearing about those groupings makes me want to go through with a full FTK, but I'll probably save the cash and leave the long range stuff to my bolt actions. Did you ever get around to chronographing with the 400% spring?

The Coke can chrono really isn't very effective on FPS close to, or above 600 FPS. I've tried doing it with my SVD but could never get an accurate reading.

Sorry about that. I tried to quote both of you and went back and edited it a few times till I just decided to post a comment without a quote. It shouldn't be there anymore.

ok i'll have to try that out... i'm sure its 520+ though just from comparing to my other guns.

also, i kind of need an actual crono so i can see what the fps fluctuation is. with the 300% spring it didn't even budge a full 1fps over 5 shots.

I need a chrono, but can never force myself into buying one. That's very consistent for an AEG. Those Systema parts must be very well made. Have you made any hop/barrel upgrades? I have a Systema bucking/SCS Spacer in mine, but I need a higher power level to hold accuracy for longer. I'm only getting about 170-200ft max range right now.

Just bear in mind that the max FPS allowed is 560 with a .25g.
