What 2nd Ranger said. This gun was completely custom built. Though now I'm kinda curious what rifle you are talking about...

By request, Externals, then Internals.

ACM ACS stock in Tan
Madbull PWS stock
G&P Vltor MUR body
G&P SPR grip in Tan
VisionKing 1.5-5x32 scope
Element Scope mount with Larue Rails
Madbull Noveske 12" rail system
Madbull Noveske 14.5" outer barrel
Element Magpul Ladder rail covers in tan
ACM MBUS sights in tan
ACM Magpul RFG in tan
Magpul PTS AAC Suppressor and Flash Hider

Lonex Gearbox Shell
Modify 8mm Ceramic Ball Bearings
Siegetek 10:1 Gears SS-3
SHS 15 tooth piston SS-3
Lonex Piston Head
Lonex A2 Titan Motor
JG Cut-off Lever
JG Trigger Safety Block
Chimera Mosfet
Speed Trigger
JG Tappet Plate
VFC Cylinder
VFC Cylinder Head
Lonex Air Nozzle
Prometheus 363mm 6.03 barrel
Lonex Hard Bucking
King Arms Hop Up Chamber
ER-hop
Modify STS (because why not?)

Shimmed
AoE corrected with 70D sorbo and some nylon washers
o-rings replaced on the piston head and air nozzle
Sanding of the gearbox shell to fit in the body
Radiusing the gearbox shell
Sanding the pistol grip to fit with the gearbox and body
Modifications necessary for an ER-hop
Modified tappet plate to feed better, and to aid in sealing with the nozzle and bucking
Removed material from rear of gearbox to allow for more wire room
Swiss Cheesing the piston and piston head
Teflon tape around the barrel to lock it in place
RCV to seal the bucking to the barrel
RCV to seal the cylinder head in the cylinder

I think that's about it. I do plan on replacing some of the ACM stuff with actual Magpul stuff. I quite like what they are doing with their company, and want to support them. Also the colors matching a bit better, and higher quality of materials does make a difference.

Also considering switching out the ACS stock for an Emod stock. I need room for that battery, and I think It might fit better with an Emod stock than it does with the ACS. Thoughts? Opinions?

I am blown away by all the time and effort you put into this stuff. It's awesome. Yeah, I kinda don't like the battery pouch, I think it'd look better with it in a stock.

I just happen to have an Emod stock you can try out Kory and see how you like it. It's even in tan.

All of that work and you didn't put a gas block or gas tube on it. You won't really gain any battery room over an ACS with an EMod stock.

hmmm, I guess I could put the gas block and tube in.

I do have to admit that it looks odd without a gas tube.

All the same... berry nice.

Finished my M4.

Image

Internals first, cause they're cool:
  • Riot 10:1s
  • 28TPA Motor
  • SHS pinion
  • Modify 8mm Ceramic Bearings
  • BTC Chimera MK II
  • Lonex Red Piston
  • Lonex POM Piston Head

  • PDI 6.05 395mm barrel

Externals, cause internals are useless without them.
  • Element Vltor Emod Stock
  • Madbull PWS Enhanced MilSpec Buffer Tube
  • G&P Vltor MUR body
  • ACM MBUS iron sights
  • Guarder Bolt Pull
  • Guarder Selector Switch

  • ER-hop and stuff
  • Barrel stabilized with teflon tape
  • Gearbox polished
  • Lubed appropriately
  • radiused gearbox shell
  • Modified Stock for a larger battery
  • Modified scope mount for better meshing with the upper

The purpose of this build was initially to replace my 417. With the flaws in it's design, it was unable to last with the demands I was putting it through. Thus, I needed a gun that could feed that fast, and not fall apart. So, I decided on an M4, and I wanted that M4 to be the exception, something that was perfectly what I wanted from an M4. And this is it.

During it's build, I decided to opt for a FT over the Lonex motor I was using, primarily due to the heat that 44rps was causing. With the FT, everything slowed down quite a bit. Initially, I wasn't too happy with the slower gun, but with a 14.8v, I was fine with it. Soon, I shifted to 11.1v, simply because I didn't have to wind the mags as much (lazy, yes I know).

I balanced the barrel to have it ported perfectly for .40s, as this gun is going to be my backup for OP: Sovereign Fury in August. Slightly over volumed for the .32s I usually use in the system, but I'm happy with it. The gun is a laser beam, and I have no problem nailing people. Range is currently unknown. Before I finished the hop up, I had a rough right hook on the ER-hop due to an off center nub that was quickly thrown together the night before. Now that it's centered, and properly applied, I need to test it's max range. I suspect it to be easily 300ft, as I was almost out that far before the gun was slightly off. At least now it shoots straight without me cocking the rifle to the side.
