This is the new SIG P226 Carbine, and i'm just not sure what to think of it,
To me it's not even a carbine, its a p226 with an extended mag and a rail wraped around it

I have to agree with Python... it's impractical... unless it's actually modded for full auto, similar to say a Corner shot with a G18c... but Sigs are still awesome.

I agree Slick, that is no carbine, a carbine is not a pistol with a stock and some accessories :roll:.

It's not going to be sold.  All it is a Sig stuffed into a CAA Pistol Carbine Kit.  You can buy the carbine kit to fit a glock, a sig, some kimber frames.  Below is the same "carbine kit" with a trainer Glock stuffed into it.

The reason why it's not going to be sold is CAA went belly up right before the 2010 Shot show.
