Ok thanks star. If I decide to do this I'll post a parts list with links to make sure I get the right stuff.

lol, I'll be sure to help you out. It shouldn't be a hard thing to do. The G&G M14's gearbox is much easier to work on than the TM V7.

Tech trivia, the G&G M14's gearbox is called the G&G V4, as it's G&G's 4th gearbox version. It was also the first M14 on the market, beating the TM M14 by a few months.

Also note the CA obviously comes with better stock wiring than the G&G.

I can't find that review I used to use for this very purpose, but off the top of my head I think that the CA may have the almost singular difference that it uses an AUG cylinder head? Confirmation needed on that one, I may be wrong. Other than that I think it has the same parts compatibility as the G&G.

Hey, I was wondering if I should just leave the SVD like this, or put the plate back on after i'm done adjusting the hop up. (finaly found the right piece, but it is to dark to shoot) Image

well, that speck wont be getting into MY gun. just put the cover back on after adjusting the hop-up. hits pretty good now and I have a scope on it for distance now.

well, I've got an M170 spring, all heat treated steel internals, a 6.03 tight bore barrel, a crazy hop-up though it is hard to adjust. I'm accurately hitting at roughly 90 yards. it isn't bad, but it could be beter.
