July 7th--Blue Hole

Post by Diesel » Sat Jun 16, 2012 6:00 am

Date--July 7th
Field--Blue Hole
Game organizers--Ajax
Field fees--$10.00
Chrono opens 0800
Registration closes and safety briefing 9:30
Move to first game 1000

Blue Hole, Warrenville SC. 33.51536,-81.77565... the intersection of Richardsons Lake Rd and Burbage Ave
Google Maps link

FYI. REGISTRATION FOR THIS GAME WILL CLOSE AT 9:30. IF YOU SHOW UP AFTER 9:30 YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO REGISTER AND PLAY UNTIL AFTER A BREAK IS TAKEN. WE ARE NOT GOING TO HOLD EVERYONE ELSE UP, BECAUSE OF A FEW PEOPLE THAT CAN'T OR WON'T SHOW UP ON TIME.

Due to excessive heat, this game will not be an all day. There will be many games run from 30 min to 1 hr long. This will allow for everybody to play, but not get overheated. Scores will be kept per missions.

All AOSC rules apply. There will be medic games and respawn games.

For $10.00, this is a way to just get out there and have a good time. No CO/XO will be needed Airsoft is about having fun, so this is a FUN day. Bring your friends and shoot people.

I cannot stress this enough, hydrate before you come and bring plenty of water.

I'll do my best to be there.

Guys, don't assume that because the games are only 30-60 minutes long that there will be no oppurtunity to put tactics to use. Many of you probably remember the game I ran following this basic plan last year.

Let me correct myself. The gameday will be normal. The games itself will not be a day long scenario. This will allow for breaks in between games. Plan on a lot of action. Bring plenty of bbs and water.

Duh, you're helping run the game.
You name a game, I've been to it.

If I've banned you, then you have more than likely deserved it.

If I deleted a post it didn't need to be there or I simply didn't like it.

I hate to miss this one. I will be having scuba diving class all weekend long. So while you are sweating out in the heat, I will be in the mountain waters of Jocasse, trying to keep from drowning.

SQAirsoft will be providing airsoft gun rentals for Blue Hole on July 7th.
Rentals are $20 for the game, however, if you reserve a rental before Friday, July 6, 2012 (aka Midnight, Thursday), the rental fee is only $15.
For the rental fee: you will receive a fully charged AEG with either a 0' MED or a 20' MED (depends on which AEG you choose to rent), 1 (AKs) or 2 High Cap Mags (or Mid Caps are available for reserved AEGs), and approximately 500 rounds of .20 bbs. Also included in the rental fee, if needed, will be a dead rag and/or facemask. In other words, everything you need to play.
We offer M4/M16s, AKs, and Thompsons. While we do have other AEGs including ones with 50' MEDs and SAWS, they are not available at this time. Each of these AEGs have been thoroughly tested. Some are stock, some have been upgraded internally and/or externally. Please send a PM if you are interested.
For those not wishing to reserve an AEG early, we will bring a handful that will be available on a first come, first served basis.
Requirements to rent from us:
1. a $40 deposit, when the rental items are returned, the $20 (or $25) will be refunded.
2. a valid drivers license (it will be recorded on the rental agreement)
3. If you are under 18, one of your parents/guardians must sign the rental agreement and must be present at rental. The parent/guardian is responsible for the rental. The parent/guardian does not have to use the AEG, be present when used, or be present when returned.
4. BBs weighing less than .20 are not allowed for use in the rentals. If you are found using BBs weighing less than .20, you will immediately forfeit the use of the rental equipment and your deposit.

Do not ask questions about the rentals in this thread. Send a PM if you have a question/concern. We will respond via PM.
