After the death of Osama Bin Laden, al-Qaeda has been in turmoil. The leadership change has brought on dissension, with several members making a vie for control.
Each believe the terrorist cell should move forward differently and believe they have been called to command it.
Any acts of defiance have been dealt with severely and swiftly, except now...

August 22nd, 2012 0826 hrs

US Intelligence is receiving sporadic and unconfirmed reports of a high ranking lieutenant within al-Qaeda being assassinated. Through some confusion, additional intel suggests the assassination was carried out from within by another senior al-Qaeda operative. This operative, only known as Haswari, is requesting political asylum in the US. After a failed power play maneuver, Haswari is fleeing with intel detailing al-Qaeda's current operations, as well as critical information about an impending attack on the US. With al-Qaeda now actively pursuing him, escaping the country will prove near impossible, and every minute longer he remains within Afghanistan, his chances of survival decrease. In an effort to save his life, Haswari is willing to defect to the US with intel in exchange for asylum, and an unknown amount of money. His one advantage is anonymity. Haswari's face was disfigured from a malfunctioning improvised explosive device some months prior. After undergoing plastic surgery, few know what he looks like, and he is using this to help evade his pursuers.

In response to this, the US is sending in a small team of 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta(Delta Force) operators in to recover Haswari. As a show of good faith, the Delta Force tac team will be carrying an undisclosed amount of money to show they are willing to play ball. In return, Haswari will provide a portion of the intel upon rendezvous. Because the most recent dossier does not reflect what Haswari looks like, the Delta force team will need to conduct a blind rendezvous. Once contact has been made, a piece of the intel needs to be radioed in to confirm authenticity. Then the Delta force team will need to safely transport Haswari back to the extraction point and wait for exfiltration.

The Insurgents, however, are not going to take this sitting down. If Haswari is successful in delivering the intel, all operations would be compromised. It is absolutely vital to acquire Haswari before he meets with US forces, or prevent him from leaving the country. Once secure, Haswari will be forced to reveal all the information he knows, via any method necessary. He must also account for his actions against the al-Qaeda organization.

Coincidently it would seem, a Blackwater detail is in the area and has gained knowledge of the situation. Knowing Haswari will be a high-value target for either the US or the Insurgents, they have decided to take advantage of the situation. In addition to aiding anyone willing to pay, a member of the Blackwater detail is an experienced surgeon, and can be used to heal Haswari should the Insurgents capture and torture him.

Haswari has a device on him containing the coordinates to the hidden intel. The device is locked and can only be unlocked by convincing him, or by extracting that information out of him. If Haswari is apprehended by the Insurgents, they will "torture" him to gain information. He can only be healed by the Blackwater field surgeon.

Factions:
Alpha: al-Qaeda Insurgents
Bravo: US Delta Force
Charlie: Blackwater

Camo rules:
Green/woodland/civilian(no black) - Alpha
Tan/ACU/Multicam - Bravo
Black - Charlie
No Bravo or Alpha players can wear any black clothing. This is to ensure no confusion with Charlie. However you can wear black gear.

All standard AOSC rules apply.

Image

Objectives:

Alpha:
1) Discover the identity of Haswari. Capture him, then take him back to their stronghold for "aggressive debriefing and punishment"
2) While interrogating him, prevent the US forces from gaining knowledge of his location and prevent his capture by the US.
3) To gain access to the device, Alpha must keep Haswari in their base for 1 consecutive hour of "torture" If he is captured by either Blackwater or the US Delta Force team during this and then recaptured by Alpha, the 1 hour starts over.
4) Retrieve the intel from its secret location.

Bravo:
1) Discover the identity of Haswari.
2) Rendezvous with Haswari at the predefined coordinates. Convince him to reveal the location of the intel via the information on the device.
3) Escort Haswari to the intel location, gather the intel, and radio it in for authentication.
4) Transport Haswari to the extraction point and wait for exfiltation

Charlie
1) Discover the identity of Haswari.
2) Obtain as much money as possible, through any means possible.

Like past Blackwater games, this will be a money based scenario rather than points based. There will be capturable respawns that yield a certain amount of money. These respawns will be checked hourly and either faction that currently holds it will be awarded money. Only Alpha and Bravo make money from these check ins. Blackwater can spawn at any respawn that is held by the faction they are currently employed by. It is recommended that all players use non-traditional skirmish tactics.

COMS ARE ESSENTIAL.

I cannot stress this enough. In past Blackwater games, lack of communication exacerbated an already confusing and chaotic situation.
If you don't have one, buy one, or if you cannot procure a radio, I strongly recommend you stay close to someone who has one.
Additionally, due to the nature of being a CO, if you are interested in applying for Alpha/Bravo CO, you must have a capable radio.

Is Firebred playing? (says concert)
Is this Maurader's game or another Aircross (Mojo) installment of the series?

Wait.. does this mean gameplay is only from 10:00 to 2:00 meaning 4 hours? (not including night game or optional Sunday game)

2:00PM - Lunch / Break
4:00PM - Concert
If the field owner is going to be grilling food on site, then it might make more sense to extend the game until 3:30ish and allow people to eat in the parking area while the concert is going on. The people who want to hear the music will eat at the field, and the people who don't want to hear it will be elsewhere anyways.

I haven't received a confirmation of whether Robert is grilling or not. Soon as I know something, I will post, and readjust the schedule.

It really wouldn't be a bad idea to just do it that way even if he doesn't grill. People who want to will still take a lunch break around 12.

I'll definetly have to keep an eye on this. Whats the deal with team structure (CO, XO, etc)?

the blackwater co has been filled by jts ghoust but we still have opening for alpha and bravo co's. the requirement will be that the co has to be able to think on his feet as well as think outside of the box. this is not your typical airsoft game. anyone who is interested in being a co please send me a pm and i will talk to you

We're in the process of ironing out all the wrinkles, so all other important info is forthcoming. We've contacted potential CO's for Alpha and Charlie, and we're awaiting a response.

I'm going to say this now: If there's only four hours of gameplay, field fee needs to be reduced. Me and my guys will likely only be able to be there until 6ish, and we won't want to spend $20 for only four hours of play. So it's either going to have to be a reduced field fee or reduced for those staying only for the day game.

The first half of the day game has been pushed back to 3:00pm, and will continue from 6 until midnight. That's 11 hours of gameplay, not including Sunday. The most recent AOSC game ran for approximately 7 hours with a $20 field fee. Now it's your prerogative to leave early, but you can't expect a discount if you do.

It's not my prerogative, it's my parents'. And think about it, much of the player base will only be there for day game. But of course it's all up to you guys, just my $0.02.
