Are there going to be goggle rentals at the field? and if not, would lab goggles be OK, I've got a guy coming who is new to air soft and doesn't have a set.
Re: Crisis in Dunundistan III; Sat. Jan. 5th SQA

Since everyone else is doing it:
Cyma RPK built with internals from numerous guns.
Hopefully a Cyma MP5K I will buy.
Maybe marpat96's pistol. (If he doesn't blackmail me with it.)
Jerky.

If you plan on playing this Sat at SQA a radio is a MUST TO PLAY, if you don't you will be completely lost . Communication is a must in this game with Command . So buy one, borrow, rent, beg, find a radio!
I can not stress this enough ! One of the multiple reasons that Tan is sucessfull and Green runs wild is a lack of COMMUNICATION . This is not to stir a debate about what side is better or the outcome of past games. This is fact!
I run green most times and stay that way to help out the younger players. This is my assessment of how Green/Alpha can become a better more fluid group and more SUCESSFUL ! If your a more experienced player and have more than radio PLEASE BRING IT AND LOAN IT OUT TO THE LESS EXPERIECNED PLAYERS.

Cleric: radios for everyone is not the answer. It is players need to stop thinking as solo super soldiers, but to work in fire teams. That would have one player with radios and everyone else works close. If most of the fireteam becomes mission ineffective, then the whole team returns to respawn.
But that is how leadership must relay and setup their teams.

we need die hard players to recruit the young and inexperienced players , and train them to work is a fire team.

Or.. people just need to listen to command structure? I have yet to buy a radio, and do not have the funds to buy the radio I need. So I hope this isn't some sort of mandatory rule..
Edit:
Lemmie break your logic.
What this means is that when a CO dictates team A goes to A, team B goes to B and team C goes to C at the beginning of the game, Alpha will have half of each team go, and the other half to go to wherever they want to. Bravo will have those teams go to that spot, then break after the objective to do whatever they want.
Why mandatory radios is bad:
Command structure will still be null in void.
If every person has a radio, then every person will be in chat trying to figure out where to go. RTO's will become necessary for every person so they can even get to the person they need to talk to. Every command through the radio comes to a democratic vote. Everyone will have an opinion and will voice it when they feel like it.
Thats why in the military only certain people have control over a radio. The CO has one so that he can contact his PLs, and the PLs have one to receive orders and contact SLs, and SLs have them to receive and contact PLs. With this in place, there are only, say 6 people, on chatter at one time, instead of 50. And these 6 can decisively give out any order that is necessary.
Why mandatory radios are good:
People get lost. But seriously, when was the last time that happened?
Edit:
Lemmie break your logic.
The reason Bravo is normally more successful than Alpha is because, as Ghost said, teamwork. Has nothing to really do with communication on radios. Alpha is normally a younger, larger crowd, that has the money for surplus uniforms and semi cheaper weapons. Bravo normally is multicam elitist who travel around a lot and normally have a little more experience. What this comes down to is that Alpha, being younger, doesn't understand the idea of a command structure with a CO, then XO, then platoon leaders, and squad leaders, and then themselves. Which, (even thought it is not normally said), is what the case is. Bravo understands this, and gives leaders their respect.I can not stress this enough ! One of the multiple reasons that Tan is sucessfull and Green runs wild is a lack of COMMUNICATION . This is not to stir a debate about what side is better or the outcome of past games. This is fact!
