Also, quick question about the tanks, we have a top hatch for ventilation and looking around. If we have a member sticking out of the hatch without a weapon and only to look around (As vision is bad inside the tank), is he safe from getting taken out as long as he doesn't pull out a gun and start shooting? I know he'll end up getting shot at quick a bit, but the added visibility of coming out the hatch helps alot with blindspots. I can't recall a time we've ever used it to actually shoot out of as it's kinda pointless with all the gun ports.

But what keeps the member from "spotting"? (Read up on how the Israel armor kicked butt in the 67 Arab-Israel War aka The Six Day War.) Seems the member should be able to be taken out, but that is Garrett's call.Black Poison Airsoft wrote:Also, quick question about the tanks, we have a top hatch for ventilation and looking around. (Armor "typically" does have blind spots, that is one of the disadvantages of armor. I'm sure you have worked and continue to work on improving the vision and on eliminating the "spots" but some will probably always be present.)

I think if you are actually intentionally protruding out of the tank, you should be fair game.

Makes sense. Sometimes I feel like we should have just made the tank completely out of Lexan glass instead of plywood.
Although if the guy out the top hatch gets shot and there's a medic in the tank, he can be revived correct?

Yep, your shot crewman can be medic-ed so long as there is someone to medic him, and it is not his 3rd such wound, i.e. standard medic rules apply.
It is the same for vehicle passengers (i.e. the technical) as well.
I've been shot while hanging out of the tank, such is completely fair game (and well played!)

Let us also be reminded of speed limits and "spirited" driving. It is for the safety of everyone!

So GA's just going to stand in front as we walk all over them? I guess we can do it slowly if they don't move fast either...jsts ghost wrote:"Slow" is your speed limit!

Oh the joys of imagination! With you, only playing part time, GA will at least have a little bit of fun and hell, we may break a sweat for a moment or two.

10's good right? And also, our tank has openings in the wheel well and another smaller one on the side, so pretty much ankle shots. would we be required to call it?jsts ghost wrote:Let us also be reminded of speed limits and "spirited" driving. It is for the safety of everyone!
