If only we had a way to simulate Huey drops. Well, other than walking a squad across the field in a pretend helicopter.

I liked Dom's idea of using Deuces, but I'm guessing that's not an option anymore.

I will say that the one time I played there, in March, even with snow and sleet the overgrowth was terrible. a few people got stuck hahaha and matt was dressed like a turtle.

some of us are excited for a chance to change history!

Yeah... the "helicopter" thing always ends up being kinda dumb (at least every time I've seen it).

My friend with the Deuces moved out of state, and I'd have to raise the price to get one out there. Since this is basically the 4 year AOSC anniversary game I am trying to keep the price for players very low. I think I have succeeded in this regard, and I don't think getting a death trap on big tires is really worth charging a lot extra to the players.

Quick question, does anyone have any idea what the turnout will be for this game?

^What Villid said.

It's very safe to say it will NOT be a small game though, we're up to three pages now and tons of interest here and elsewhere. I'll be posting this up on other airsoft forums in the SE region within a day or two.

Yes Rock, that will be fine. I will say this, if you like command structure, squad tactics, then play for the Americans. If you want to have fun, work in groups that will attack, then fall back and move to attack again, jungle warfare at it's best, then play with Ghost and I. I cannot guarantee a win, but I will guarantee you will have a lot of fun.
I love the Corps for those intangible possessions that cannot be issued: pride, honor, integrity, and being able to carry on the traditions for generations of warriors past.  [Cpl. Jeff Sornig, USMC; in Navy Times, November 1994]

Hope to be able to come. Looks very interesting.
Woodland BDUs? I know they're 80s but they resemble the ERDL pattern used by special units in vietnam.

M81 BDUs, while not ideal, are much better than any more modern camouflage types and it is HIGHLY encouraged that you use M81 BDUs if you are not able to obtain something closer to being accurate, like Mitchell, OD, or Tiger Stripe.

Please, if at all possible, DO NOT wear digital (such as MarPat) or other "modern" camouflage patterns.
