April FOOLS, Blue Hole: Operation Back to the Desert

Post by SteevoLS » Tue Apr 01, 2014 8:33 am

April Fools!

Field Fee: $5 (all proceeds go to the field owner, AJAX will take no commission)

Schedule:
8:00am Chrono Opens
9:30am Safety Briefing
12:00pm Lunch Break
1:00pm Game resume
6:00pm Game ends
6:30pm Raffle provided by RED Tactical Airsoft

Good news, everyone! I have been in touch with the owners of Blue Hole over the last few weeks, and the DNR reclamation project for the Blue Hole mining contract will be completed by the end of the month. To celebrate the occasion, Mr Escue has graciously let me reschedule the SQA game and use April 26th as the first official Blue Hole game of the year. AJAX will be running a balls-to-the-wall milsim event with the new FPS/MED and medic rules that have been being discussed on the forums. Gambler is flying back to SC for vacation and will be making an appearance, and I have nearly completed the installation of a propane powered .50 machine gun on the back of my Jeep. Bring your A-game and experience one of the best fields in the Southeast! RED Tactical has graciously donated several AEGs for a raffle, and you can expect to see Fallout (and a few others) with their tanks.

Scenario details to be announced soon.

For those of you who have never been to Blue Hole, expect terrain like you have never experienced before. Cliffs, gulleys, ravines, even a river crossing one side of the field.

HOLY COW! I've never played Blue Hole before, and I was super disappointed when they said we wouldn't be able to use it anymore. I'm so excited to finally get to play it!

Can't wait! This is going to be way better than anything else that the AOSC has put on since EVER.

Is Gambler still going to be the CO for bravo?

I am a bit of a jerk.
There have been a lot of games since the last fatality. Roses are red, violets are blue, so is your car at 102

We are still discussing the command structure for the factions but that has been considered.

ERMMAGUURSH BLURRRHURRLL!! Can't wait. Much stoke. Many noobs P4WN'D.

This is the most dynamic terrain in the entire south east. I call first dibs on the .50 cal.
