Camping will be allowed on Friday night (Diesel, myself, and a bunch of other people will probably be there). The earlier we get started in the day, the more we can play before it gets really hot.

That might be an idea. I'll have to see how my work schedule works out, that's gonna be a busy Friday. Mind if I shoot you a PM to work out the details of where to exactly meet, etc, if things look like they'll work out?

What do you mean? If you want to camp, just show up at the field in the evening on Friday. The gates should be open around 6 or 7.

Ah, yeah. I meant the camping. I thought you guys might have camped at a different spot or something, thanks for clarifying.

I should be there! It's been way too long since I played.

Is there a fee? Because there isn't one posted.

I'll be there, hopefully with a small contingent, camping on Friday possibly...

Yes, I'm still kicking. I was planning on making it to this one, I really wanted to check this field out and I haven't played since last year (??)... but I broke my thumb 10 feet away from the finish line in the Carolina Super Spartan race, 2 weeks ago. 5 more weeks in a cast. I may still ride out there just to see the field in reality, it' looks awesome in the virtual one.

Oh yeah, here's a video I made from some of my footage from the race.

Game #1:

~25% of players - Faction A: You will be inserted before the other faction. A single member of your faction will be considered a HVT for the other faction. If this player is killed, the game is over. The only objective for your faction is to defend this player against overwhelming odds. Blue Hole offers many excellent choke points and strongholds; for a competent group, this should be feasible.

~75% of players - Faction B: After the first team has time to set up, you will enter the field. All you have to do is find and eliminate the HVT.

This scenario could take all morning, or 20 minutes. In the event that it doesn't take very long, we'll juggle the factions around and run it again. Ideally a single team would take the role of Faction A, since they would (in theory) already mesh well and be able to work together. The HVT will be armed, but will have no respawns or heals available. Everybody else will follow standard AOSC medic rules.

Pimps and Pimpettes! Slate is returning July 23rd to grace you all with his epic airsoftness.

That's right, after more than a year away from the AOSC that I consider family, I'm planning on coming to the 23rd game at Blue Hole.

Prepare yourselves, mercy will not be shown.
