THE FOLLOWING AIRSOFT EVENT IS NOT AFFILIATED, SANCTIONED, OR SPONSORED BY THE A.O.S.C. Event organizer ACCEPTS ALL RESPONSIBILITY OF SAID EVENT.

Game Organizer: Operation Reality Check
Date: December 7, 2013
Location: GTI Training, Barnwell, SC
Time: 0800
Game Guidelines: see http://www.operationrealitycheck.com for full info on event
Age restrictions: 17+
Field fee: 75

Good Afternoon all
My Name is Tom Monty Sutton, Founder of RAMPS (Role and Mil-Sim Players Scenarios.
It's a very unique style df Airsoft Scenario, as it includes a population of around 40-50 non-players who act as a local community, hostages, antagonists to the population
Wjhat's exciting for me is that I am bringing the format, my staff and my Role Platers down to Barnwell this December for a 12 hour Scenario.
One of the Scenarios I offer is Operation Overture, this is an introduction to RAMPS when ever I go to a new Region. It encompasses something from all the other styles of scenario I offer.
Operation Palmetto Overture will be at the GTI JOC on December 7th and I look forward to meeting you all there.

LMAO....that's one of the "Little Bastards". One of thier tasks as NPGs is to corral :one Wolfs on the field and make the teams pay a ransom to get them back in a Reality Check: Origional Format. They thro Airsoft Bricks at you, be a pain in the ass, Taunt youbeg off of you.

Some of them have turned it in to an art form

Operation Reality Check is excited to announce and confirm that Operation Palmetto Overture is a go.

Palmetto Overture is the first game of our Overture series, and heralds OP:RC’s arrival in South Carolina. The event will be held at the Joint Operations Center of the Government Training institute, Technology Road, Barnwell, South Carolina.
The facility is a privately owned Government training Site and is mainly Urban Industrial. The Scenario is based on events that took place in the Battle for Nasiriyah in March 2003, but not a reenactment.
The regular cost of the Scenario is $80, but Monty is giving an additional $5 discount for his birthday to all participants and includes:
• The 12-hour RAMPS Scenario
• Commemorative Patch
• Camping for Friday Night
• 1 MRE
• Over 40 Non-combatant Players on the field, acting as reporters, civilians and police.
• “Originals” status, which is a 25% discount to all future OP:RC Scenarios and “Original” patch
Registration will open on August 1st and will close on October 31st at midnight. However, we are accepting reservations of Squads now. The minimum age requirement is 17 years of age on or before December 7th.
There are absolutely no walk-ons permitted
There is a limit of:
• 12 (11 man)squads per Faction (132 Spaces)
• 4 (2 man)Sniper Teams Per Faction (8 Spaces)
• (140 Players per faction for a total of 280 MSPs (Mil-Sim Players)

Operation Reality Check also has a core staff of 12 trained Actors to play Non-player Characters, which means we are looking for at least 30 NPCs. NPCs play for free, but must do so on the understanding that they are non-players, and are there primarily as actors. As a reward, NPCs are allowed to play in the final mission (White Mission).
To request a reservation, please contact Monty@operationRealitycheck.com
To register or request more information about being a Non-Player Character please see the NPC’s handbook at www.operationrealitycheck.com or contact roleplayers@operationrealitycheck.com

Operation Reality Check is also available on Facebook HERE

On behalf of myself, Monty and the rest of the Operation Reality Check Staff, we look forward to seeing you on the field this December.

“It’s called Reality Check for a reason. If it’s in the scenario, you know someone had to get shot at, in order to bring you the mission” - Monty

There are no exact requirments or speciofic training required for sniper positions. I will say that Operation Reality Check Scenarios makes the assumption that you are prepared for what we are going to throw at you. (We literally do throw things at you, but t that is usually in a simulated Riot)

If you are not prepared, physically and Mentally for the role you select it is going to be more difficuult thatn it should be.

You do need to be a team though, no one signs up just to be a Spotter.

Between Faded Giant II, Sovereign Fury, and this event I think I might actually be all MOUT'd to death by the end of the year! Definitely a cool change for the Southeast airsoft scene; it wasn't long ago that we had to drive halfway across the country to find a cool AO.
