The field owner REQUIRES all players to wear FULL SEAL eye protection, period. DO NOT attempt to wear shooting glasses or any other form of eye protection that is not fully sealed around all seams at this field. Mesh is allowed.

All players receive one raffle ticket with registration. Additional raffle tickets may be purchased at $1 ea.

Field fee is $30.

2014: After much controversy surrounding the 2000 election, the supreme court has decided to recount all the votes. A final result revealed Al Gore was in fact elected president. Based upon new legislation, he is inaugurated in 2017 as the incumbent. In his first act as President, Gore decides to issue a ban on all firearms. Throughout the United States, numerous rebel factions have risen up to respond to the trampling of their rights. Anarchy runs rampant. Amidst the chaos, two forces grow within South Carolina. The Alpha Federation and the Bravo Coalition square off, both vying for control.

2015: Both factions have been licking their wounds since the showdown of epic proportions last September. Neither side was able to capture the other's dignitary, leaving both without an edge during the negotiations. Any hope of peace talks had long since faded as tensions rose. This left the battlefield nothing but a bloody mess after immense casualties on both sides... and no resolution to the conflict in sight. Each faction has again mustered their full strength to take on the other, with the intent to finally establish dominance over the state. Will you choose to aid the Alpha Federation, or the Bravo Coalition in their struggle for supremacy over South Carolina?

If that is so, it might just be worth the ride from Charleston!

I'm guessing that 19-20th means it's going to be overnight?

We're looking for volunteers for platoon leaders for both factions. Additionally we're looking for a sniper/spotter team for both factions. Send me a pm if you're interested in either.

Unfortunately no. We released the updated AOSC patches at the game last year for three reasons: there had been no AOSC patches available for a long time; it was a special anniversary (5); if we were going to release new patches anyway, when better to do it?

Since there are still plenty of AOSC patches available, we won't be running anymore for some time.

Is there any exemption to the "0 MED night rule?" If I didn't have 0 MED, do I just sit out during night games?

Because the field we'll be using for the night game is primarily CQB, and with visibility being slim to nought, 0 foot MED is necessary to protect the players.
Having said that, in the event you are unable to procure a 0 ft MED weapon, (there are several inexpensive options though), you can still be involved. Focusing on objectives, medicing, or even going around and stealth killing (quite effective at night) are just a few options that come to mind. Lack of a CQB gun doesn't preclude you from the action!

Indeed, in fact last year there were several people that went all night with no weapon and had a blast. Personally, I like to use a pistol.
