I would love to come to that, but sadly I will be out of town that day.

How much does it cost to play at most of these fields?

Normally $20 to play at Redfox,
but field fees can start at as low as $10, like at The Swamp

Field fees are listed in the game threads.

Please note the following addition to Article III, Rule #7 per a unanimous vote:

The Minimum engagement rules have been augmented to include joule limits as well as FPS. This change is being implemented to cover joule Creep which is seen predominately in Gas and HPA guns, but can also occur in AEGs.

Image

The exception to the FPS limits and MEDs above occurs on any field deemed by the Game Directors to be a CQB field. On all CQB fields there is an absolute limit of 300 FPS with a .25 gram BB. Full auto is allowed and there is no MED. With direct approval from the AOSC Game Director Representative hosting a particular CQB game, a player may use an airsoft gun on semi auto only that is higher than 400FPS with a .25g BB, but not more than 560 FPS with a .25. They will have a 100ft MED. Also, with said direct approval a player may use a bolt action airsoft gun from 301FPS-560 FPS with a .25, they will have a 100ft MED. Only players who have proven themselves responsible and rule abiding will be given this permission, and players under the age of 18 may not obtain it. This permission is on a case by case basis per game.

I am 17, but I have used my bolt actions for awhile now, and believe you all trust me with my boltys. I mean, most AEGs shoot faster than my VSR, my L96 being an exception.

I just want to make sure I can use my rifles still.

I would think that is meant to be the same as the current rule for CQB environments and DMRs/bolt actions, not restricting use everywhere. Am I correct there?

Yes the restriction is only related to CQB.

Quick question, and hopefully I dont get flamed too hard for asking it, but how strictly is the camo color rule enforced usually? Like do people usually just show up and play in whatever and just remember who's on teams or is it tightly enforced to have matching cloths and gear?

Gear color doesn't matter, but the tan being with tan and green with green is usually pretty enforced. otherwise things get complicated much too fast. much simpler to do tan vs green.

If you mix camo, expect to be shot by both sides

At very small games (Less than thirty people) we may overlook it, but I and the other Reps regularly (had to do it to three people last weekend) tell people to change before the game or not hit the field when they are blatantly mixing the camo of different factions. Honestly I don't understand what is so impossibly hard about having a top and bottom that are the same faction color scheme, but it's getting to be very annoying and we are getting less tolerant of it, especially since everyone should know better unless they're brand new.
