To everyone saying the GB's should have beat spetznas, I must really disagree. A green beret is NOT the elite fighting force of the US. Thats Delta. GB's are the guys you send in to train a group of locals to fight for your side. They are 95% mental, 5% physical.

Spetz are 150% physical, 25% kick ass, 1% mental(enough to follow orders)

You kidding? SF being 5% physical? haha you have no idea what your talking about half our guys had SF contracts everyone washed out that didn't have a 300 or higher pt score. Talk to some people that went through the Q course.

Alright, give me a couple minutes while I call them up, got their numbers saved in the phone...

But in all seriousness, in actual combat situations, a GB is trained more to think and adapt and overcome. Just the way it is, they aren't relentlessly drilled in upfront fighting skills.  Thats not their style. Ask em. They think.

To sum this all up......They should have had it as Delta vs Spetznas

i know in season 2 they got SEALS vs somebody...i agree the swat vs gsg9 was lame...but nice to see the guns...always nice to see guns.

as for GB vs Spetz... i would have went with spetz.... soviet union/russia does not have a problem with legal/safety issues training spetz...

and i almost got one of the springie knife things in highschool...i jsut found it interesting the GB used the shovel when the spets are nornmally associated with their spade!

10 year navy vet, so i am pulling for the home team, but i just saw a special with some secret isreali strike force, they go into ghaza strip and extradite terrorists or just plain go in and kill them...and thats the police...IDF dont play ever. like i said will be a GREAT showdown, as long as they dont f it up like swat vs gsg9
