So, who else is addicted to MineCraft?

If it's not airsoft related, then put it here.

No idea. But I saw 3 of them off the coast, which is shallow then a really deep drop. So maybe somewhere like that?my whole world is all hills so clearing land to build stuff takes forever.
Anyone know where red dust is? I want to build a trap and I need it.

red dust is normally found at minimum 20 blocks down and kind of near lava,

REALLY far underground. You need to dig down all the way to bedrock making a 3x3 tunnel, then make platforms in that tunnel and dig 3x3 tunnels sideways. That's the easiest way to find stuff, and get lots of stone. DON'T FORGET THE LADDERS.

I found some more. The original ones were in 1 meter deep water, and these were in 2m deep water.

Redstone is quite common at lower levels. It's the diamonds that are a pain to find!

Well, I'm working on my "lava lighting" and floor lights. It looks sharp.

With new beta update notch made it so they're found in conjunction with other stuff.
If you See coal keep digging until you find iron ore. Then from the iron ore keep digging all around. Which then leads down the steps of the different ores. Until diamonds!

Today, I just kept digging down 'til I hit bedrock. from there I found lava, loads of red stone, nice amount of gold, and quite a few diamonds.

So does anybody know where to get clay? I plan on building another house but I need the clay to form bricks.

I hit bedrock and found all kinds of goodies too, so that makes two of us being lucky.

Yep! For better or worse it's written in Java, so it can run (inefficiently) on just about anything.
