For me, airsof didn't replace anything, but it took place of things I wasn't able to do anymore because of other reasons.

Such as:
Hunting
Rodeos
4-H Horse Club President
Musical Theater
Sleeping in on weekends...
Yes I have taken my shoes off during games.  Yes I have 2 of the same guns. No I am not a little boy...I am in fact female, so don't say "kill the little kid".  No Tanker and I aren't married...yet. Does that dispel all the myths about me? LOL

dude... those were the days. MetalWarrior, Steevo, Bushmaster, and I used to have the sickest NERF wars when we were younger.

now i switch hobbies according to seasons

spring and summer: mainly photography
fall and winter: airsoft

I never had any hobbies aside from Video games when I was younger, but not instead of my airsofting every few months or so, I've started Hunting and Rugby :P

I'm still involved in this stuff:

Politics
History (almost every book I own is research orientated, with a few historical fiction novels)
Double Bass
Bass guitar
Band (Firebred)
Video and PC Games
Football (mostly NCAA and NFL)
Rugby (started for the SC state champion Vikings last season, unsure if I'll be active this season)
Competition shooting (currently inactive)

I try to incorporate aspects of Hunting into my Rugby, and aspects of Rugby into my Hunting.  It really makes for an interesting game.
