Favorite book

Post by rack0730 » Tue May 18, 2010 4:09 pm

Ok guys I don't know about the rest of yall but I like to read so I made this thread. Just post up the title and author of your favorite book with a brief description.

My Favorite book is actually one I just finished named "Lone Survivor" it was written by Petty Office 1st class Marcus Luttrell. It is about Operation Redwing and one Navy Seals fight for survival in the Hindu Kush Mtns. in Afghanistan against an entire Taliban Army. It is a great book that goes into great detail and is a first hand account of what he had to go through to get back home to his family.

I don't like to read because I don't want the book to screw up the movie that will eventually come out.  ;)

I usually only read when I'm traveling.  I'f I'm at home there are too many other things to do.

I'd have to say that Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei is my favorite book.

My favorite book was the english translation of Mein Kampf by Adolf Hitler, it really shows his views.
Now, I once heard some bull crap about me wanting to take dumps on people's lawns, and I can personally assure you, this is true.

My favorite book is I,Sniper by Stephen Hunter.
It's about a sniper Bob Lee Swagger who is investigating 4 sniper killings and now the snipers are trying to hunt and kill him. They are using this intellectual scope called ISniper911, but Swagger shows them that a leupold Mark IV 4-15x mil-dot and a great snipers mind can beat any intellectual scope system.
